Mia's POV

Today is the day. Teddy and I are getting married.

Since we decided not to see each other before the wedding, I stayed at Meredith, Amelia, and Maggie's house while Teddy remained at home. My bridesmaids—Amelia (my maid of honor), Meredith, and Maggie—were already awake and making sure everything was in place when I came downstairs after my shower.

"Mia, good thing you're up. We made sure your dress is ready, and I have the rings," Maggie said, holding them up for me to see.

Meredith glanced at her phone. "April just texted—everything is set. It's time to go."

I nodded, taking a deep breath. We left for the venue, and when we arrived, I was in awe. It was breathtaking. The outdoor space was transformed into a romantic haven—a floral archway with a golden frame stood at the altar, draped in cascading white and blush pink flowers. Rows of modern gold chairs with white cushions were neatly arranged, leading up to the archway, creating a perfect aisle. The serene wooded backdrop only enhanced the dreamy atmosphere.

April greeted us and guided me to a small bridal suite to get ready. With my bridesmaids' help, I slipped into my wedding dress. It was an ethereal gown with a strapless sweetheart neckline. Intricate 3D floral appliqués adorned the bodice and cascaded down the layers of tulle, forming a voluminous skirt that flowed effortlessly. The dress had a long train that made me feel like I had stepped straight out of a fairytale.

April peeked into the room. "Teddy just arrived. She's getting ready now."

I nodded. "Thank you."

"How are you feeling?" Amelia asked, sitting beside me.

"Nervous. Scared. But happy," I admitted.

"Don't be scared. Everything will be perfect. You and Teddy will get your happily ever after," Maggie reassured me.

I gave her a pointed look. "Can I throw my shoe at her?" I whispered to Amelia and Meredith.

"Not yet," Amelia smirked.

"We all know life doesn't guarantee a happy ever after," I muttered.

Meredith placed a hand on my shoulder. "You'll be fine, Mia. Teddy loves you so much. No matter what happens, you two will get through it. You're stronger together."

I smiled at her words but hesitated. "Would Mom be proud?"

Meredith's expression softened. "No." She paused before adding, "But you're braver than she ever was. You follow your heart, and that makes you better. You don't need her approval."

I swallowed hard and nodded. "Thank you, Mer." We hugged tightly before Amelia's phone buzzed.

"They're ready. Everyone is seated," Amelia informed me. "We're heading out now. You'll walk down first, then Teddy."

I took a deep breath as I stepped into place. When I saw Teddy walking down the aisle with Owen, my heart stopped. She looked breathtaking.

The ceremony started, and before I knew it, it was time for our vows. I turned to face Teddy, my hands shaking slightly as I spoke.

"Teddy, I had a whole speech prepared, but now that we're here... I don't care about any of it. All I know is that I love you with my whole heart, and I always will. You and Allison are my world. You are my one true love."

Tears welled in Teddy's eyes, and I reached up to wipe them away. She smiled through them, radiating love.

After she said her vows, the priest turned to me. "Mia Grey, do you take Teddy Altman as your wife?"

"I do," I said, my voice steady and sure.

He turned to Teddy. "Teddy Altman, do you take Mia Grey as your wife?"

"I do," she said with the brightest smile.

"I now pronounce you wife and wife. You may now kiss."

As we kissed, cheers erupted around us. The rest of the night was a blur of laughter, dancing, and pure happiness. I had never felt so loved, so complete.

When we arrived home, Allison was already asleep, so we gently placed her in her crib. I took a quick shower while Teddy sat on the small couch in our room, reading a book.

I climbed into bed beside her, feeling an overwhelming sense of peace.

This was the beginning of forever.
