CHAPTER 1

Wight's POV

Christmas break na namin ngayon. Actually, today is the first day. Louie's family decided to spend their Christmas in America with their new daddy. Yes, tito Liam and tita Lisa are together again! And they are married! I'm so happy for them. Kasi after so many years, nagkasama na din ulit sila. It's okay for me na mahiwalay muna kami ni Louie sa isa't-isa because that their time to bond. And i wanted a time with my family too. And speaking of us, mommy remain firm. But sometimes when she remember or misses dad, she likes to be alone. Kaya pinagbibigyan namin siya. We understand her. But we told her that if she need someone to lean on, 'wag siyang magdalawang-isip na tawagin niya kami. Because we will come to her right away. Everything is fine. Tahimik na kami ngayon na namumuhay. This is what we want. Pero sana, ng kasama si daddy. It really still feels different without him. How many years have been passed.. pero sariwa pa rin sa 'kin ang lahat.

We're in the second year of college. Same university na din kami ng pinasukan but magkakaibang course yung kinuha namin. So, sa magkaibang buildings at schedule ang meron kami. We're doing good. But i miss Louie already. Kakaalis lang nila kahapon at kakatawag lang niya sa 'kin kanina but i already miss him. And speaking of him, he still courting me. He amazed me. Kasi simula junior high school niya pa ko nililigawan. Even our schedule is not same, we can still manage time for us. He said, he's willing to wait. Even it will takes an eternity. He's willing to wait until i give him my sweetest yes. Like what i said, nakakaumpisa palang ng Christmas break. So yung iba may plano na. While me, i don't really have any idea what i'm going to do in Christmas break. But i just want to rest. College life really gives me a stress. So much stress that it will be the cause of my death. Twight and Bright had an out of town travel with their friends. So Kladues and the others are not in their house. But they'll be back before Christmas.

Pero si Dwight nandito. He's now in the legal age so while he's studying, he's taking the company at the same time. He said it a little bit hard. Pero kaya naman daw niya. Tito Alvaro can't help him with the paperworks anymore because he died a moths ago. May sakit pala siya sa puso, hindi namin alam. Tsaka ang tanda na din niya kasi. Pinilit niya lang magpatuloy pa sa trabaho dahil gusto niyang suklian yung kabutihan ng family Fuegeras sa kanya. We tried to talk to him that he doesn't need to do that but he's also a hard-headed one. Syempre nakiramay kami noong libing niya. And the new secretary of the Reefort Company now is tito Alvaro's elder child. He volunteered himself to be the replacement of his dad. Pinilit niya si mommy at hindi naman siya nakatanggi. But we still continue our life. Everything feels different. Sabi ko walang nagbago, pero meron talaga. I'm twenty one years old now. And si mommy, tumatanda na. But she still want to hold the coffee shop.

She also said that if she can't take the coffee shop anymore, she'll going to give me that. Hindi naman na ko tumanggi. Pinaghirapan din ni mommy na ipundar ang coffee shop na 'yon and until now, marami pa rin pumunta. Karamihan mga regular costumer ni mommy. Mmm, time flies. Nandito lang ako sa kwarto ko. Nakahiga habang nakatitig sa kisame. I'm thinking what i'm going to do today. Ang tahimik dito. Parati kasi noon, hiyawan nina Twight at Bright ang naririnig ko lalo na sa umaga. Pero ngayon, minsan na lang 'yon mangyari. They matured. Pero nandoon pa rin yung makulit na ugali nila. And speaking of my siblings, they don't have a girlfriends yet. Hindi ko ba alam. Wala silang nililigawan kahit si Dwight. But there's a rumors! That Dwight and Louie's twin sister Louise, are secretly seeing each other! We keep it as a secret from them and we even act naturally like we don't know something. Kasi ayaw naman namin silang pakialaman o pangunahan.

And speaking of Kladues naman, he finally had a girlfriend named Tifanny Acuazo. He met her when they was in junior high. Kladues said that they bumped to each other while he's with Louie that time. Close na din kami ngayon ni Tifanny sa isa't-isa. Ilang beses na din kaming nagkasama sa pasyalan kasama sina Louie at Kladues.  Actually kasama din si Tifanny sa out of town travel nina Kladues. Inaya pa nga nila ko but i didn't accept. Tinatamad akong pumunta sa kung saan-saan eh. Parang gusto ko na lang humilata dito sa kama ko buong araw, hanggang sa magsawa ako. Wala dito si mommy. Nandoon na siya sa coffee shop. Pero si Dwight, nandito pa. Hindi ko lang alam kung lumabas ba siya. Basta nakita ko siya kanina eh. I went downstairs and i saw him. Tapos bumalik ulit ako dito. I just get some foods. Nagugutom kasi ako kahit kakatapos ko lang kumain ng lunch kani-kanina. But i'm lazy today. Tinatamad talaga kong magpunta kung saan-saan hays.
