Years later...

Adam's POV

After the day when i decided to let go of Wight, i still continue to live, but alone again. It's okay because i used to do this back then. But honestly, i missed her, so much. Seems like she forgotten me haha. Wight haven't contact me yet. Yes. Since the day she left. Siguro bumabawi muna siya sa mga mahal niya sa buhay. Ako? Nagpatuloy lang ako kung ano yung ginagawa ko noong simula kaming magkasama ni Wight. I want to hear her voice, see her unique smile and feel her warm hug again. But it's imposible now. Ang balita ko, nagkabalikan na sila nu'ng Louie at engaged na sila. Damn.. What happened to me? Until now, i'm still alone. I haven't met the right woman for me. Maybe because i still love Wight? No, no way. She's now engaged with that man. But i have no intention to take her away from the person she loves. Masaya na ko kung masaya siya. Wala na kong mahihiling pang iba. Baka siguro tatanda akong binata, haha. Nakakatawang isipin. I-enjoy ko na lang siguro yung buhay ko ngayon.

Masaya naman ako hindi lang talaga halata. I fix everything here when Wight left. Pinaliwanag ko sa boss namin ang nangyari. She's surprised. But she understand when i explained everything to her. Agad din naman siyang nakahanap ng ipapalit kay Wight bilang secretary. Sa kumpanya pa rin niya ko nagtatrabaho hanggang ngayon. Ayoko munang magresign. Saka na kapag may nararamdaman na kong sakit sa katawan o kapag may masama na sa kalusugan ko. But today is my day off. So i will spend this day to go out and eat something. I missed those days when Wight and i used to spend our day offs to go out. Nagdedate at namamasyal kami noon. Noong kasama ko talaga siya noon, nakalimutan ko na yung pakiramdam ng nagiisa. Pero nangyari ulit 'to. So i have no choice but to continue to live alone again. But i wanted to see her again.. Pero kailan naman? Baka nga mamaya o bukas ikasal na siya. If she's going to invite me, i wouldn't think twice to accept it.

My phone rings while i'm wearing my jacket. So i took it and answer the call."Hello?"sagot ko sa tumawag.

"[Oh my god.. Adam! This is me! Wight!]"

Matik na napangiti ako ng malapad nang marinig ang boses niya."Damn! I thought you're forgotten me! Why did you call?"tanong ko sa kanya.

"[Gaga. Pa'no ko naman malilimutan yung taong sinamahan ako sa loob ng nine years? Anyways i called you because i'm going to invite you on my wedding. Magaganap na kasi after ng ilang araw.]"

Iniisip ko palang yung tungkol doon, dininig yata agad ni lord."R-really? Congrats. You deserve it."bati ko sa kanya.

"[Thank you.. uhm... Are you able to take a flight by this night? Don't worry, susundin kita sa airport.]"

Napaisip muna ko sa sinabi niyang 'yon."Ah yes. I'll let you know later. Magpapaalam muna ko sa boss ko."sabi ko naman.

"[Okay. So bababa ko na 'to ah? May inaasikaso pa kasi kami eh. By---]"

"Wait Wight!"

"[Uhm yes?]"

"I-i missed you.. so much.."

"[I missed you too.]"

"Your voice didn't change. You can now end the call. I might disturbing you. Have a nice day. See you soon."

"[Alright, see you soon!]"

Matapos ng maikli naming usapan na 'yon ni Wight ay siya na ang tumapos sa paguusap namin."Dapat ako yung nasa lugar ni Louie ngayon kung ako yung pinili mo."sabi ko sa sarili ko.
