                                              Wish that I could tell you
                          How wonderful you are
                          Wish that I could love you

                          Even with your scars
                          

                          But I get to watch
                          I get to let you go
                          There's always a girl
                          There's always a guy
                          Always some reason why
                          

                          I love your personality
                          But we would never work
                          And I'd hate to see your eyes

                          When clock hands turn
                          

                          So I let you go
                          And I wish I wouldn't
                          It's been so long
                          That it shouldn't hurt
                          

                          I leave you alone
                          I play my part
                          I shouldn't hold you back
                          From a new start
                          

                          I know I shouldn't worry
                          I never was your kind
                          Yet I think of a life
                          Where hearts intertwined
