Darkness never dies
Don't you listen to their lies
No matter what they may be
It travels around
Goin' from town to town
Until you're staring it in the eyes.
And it always will win
Unless you take a stand
But if we listen to them
We're as good as damned
As history tends to repeat.
Can't you hear them spinning
Their tales of yore?
How they fought great demons
And peace evermore?
You should be happy
They saved you the trouble
But every great problem arises from rubble.
You see, darkness never dies
And you'll look it in the eyes
Sometime before you die
But the scary thing you'll not see
Is how invisible dark can be
Because to it we're all blind
That's why darkness hides.
