Yes, I heard your label there
The one you use to force people to hear.
But I'm not like the others
Who your true self seek to smother.
Beneath the text and words
It's the real you I heard.
So put down your lingual guard,
I understand the world is hard.
Though I may not always grasp,
It's your hand that I'll clasp.
I accept you and your expression
No need to fear oppression.
Above all you are human.
In this peace, you'll bloom in.
But the world demands a label:
"Give in and you'll be stable."
I dare you to live free
Of the words haunting thee.
Groups only offer a dull herd
Defending and idolizing the word.
Believe in all that you are
For a description cannot capture the star.
To your own self be true,
As if a label could capture you.
