The Three Times She Rested on Him and The One Time He Rested on Her

The First Time

The rain came down hard while thunder shook the Inn they all camped out in.

After one of their heists a storm came over Ketterdam and forced the crows to take shelter at a nearby Inn.

Kaz being Kaz made their group of six fit into the cheapest one-bed-room for the night.

Complaining all the way up the stairs and down the different halls, they finally opened the door revealing one queen sized bed, one couch, a wooden coffee table and an old recliner chair.

Nina quickly grabbed Matthias' hand and dragged him to the bed, "We call the bed!" She hopped on and laid back against the pillows.

Jesper throws his head back and groans, "There are four of us left with only a ugly recliner chair and a couch."

Kaz swiftly moves to the couch and sits down raising his leg so it stretches out across taking up the rest of the space.

Y/N and Jesper throw him glares to which he just shrugs and smirks.

Inej moves to sit on the recliner while Jesper sits on the floor and leans back on the recliner.

Y/N sighs and sits on the floor in front of the couch, pulling her knees close to her chest and rests her head on her knees.

Kaz looks at her torn.

He doesn't want her to fall asleep curled up in a ball on the floor, so he shuffles around, moving his leg to rest on the coffee table in front of the couch instead.

Y/N looks up at him, confusion swimming in her eyes, "What are you doing?"

He rolls his eyes, "What does it look like?" He softly pats the spot next to him.

She smiled softly and moved to sit next to him leaning her head on the back of the couch.

Kaz looked around the room seeing that everyone already fell asleep.

He turned his head and watched Y/N's head slide down to her shoulder every few seconds.

He sighed and moved her head to his shoulder while placing a chaste kiss to her forehead before falling asleep himself.

When the rest of the crows woke up the next morning they saw Y/N curled into Kaz's side with her arm around his waist and head buried in his neck, her legs sprawled out on the rest of the couch and Kaz leaning his head on her own.

Nina smiled, "They are so cute together!"

Inej nodded in agreement while Jesper watched them, shocked, "Did any of you know they were together?"

Inej and Nina both nodded, "Y/N told us almost six months ago."

Jesper's jaw dropped, "They've been dating for six months and no one told me?!"

Nina threw a pillow at him, "Shut up!"

The Second Time

"I know I signed up for all of this..."

Y/N ran her hands through her hair, "But if I die, it's your fault and I will not hold back from blaming you entirely."

Kaz rolled his eyes as he hid behind some crates as bullets came flying at them.

"Okay, how about this? If you die, you can come back and kill me too."

She laughed and quickly ducked down beside him, "Deal."

She stood back up and fired and the gang that had them cornered.
