*Olivia*
Today is finally Friday again. I'm finally going to Spain in a weekend. I really look forward to it. This weekend Luna helps with buying stuff and packing a bag.
"Hey babe." Avery is already in place. I want to say hi to her but suddenly start to yawn. Yesterday my father had taken time off and we went to an amusement park with Luna. We didn't get home until 1 am. But it was fun.
She will be back on Sunday morning. "So you're tired." I smile and take a seat. My gaze falls on Mason walking into the classroom with his friends. Strangely enough, he just keeps walking without giving me a glance.
Okay?
During the explanation I turn my face to Mason. I get a warm feeling when I see that he was already looking at me. I give a smile, but he continues to look at me emotionlessly. Frowning, I look away.
Did I do something wrong?
"Do you have a leaf for me?" asks Avery. I nod and give her a piece of paper. "And maybe-" Before she can finish her sentence I hand her a pen. "Thank you." she smiles. Avery never has her things in order. So this isn't the first time she's asked. I rest my head on my palm and look out the window. I'm about to fall asleep.
After the bell I quickly pack my things and wait for Avery.
"You don't have to wait. Have to ask a few more things." She says. I nod and walk towards the door. Mason walks right past me and out the door.
What the fuck.
It's starting to annoy me that he's suddenly acting like that. Without thinking, I run up to the boys and grab Mason's arm. He turns and looks at me. He has made himself so great again. I hate that why can't I be 1m75? I am 1m68 and he is 1m80. Small I'm sure, but that's not the point.
"We'll go." Wyatt says he looks at me with a look I can't place and already walks away with Aiden.
"Why do you ignore me?" I ask. He laughs scornfully.
"You feel ignored?" I frown, then nod slowly. "Go to Jackson maybe he won't ignore you." He says, turning and walking on.
How? Mila is looking at the lockers with a grin, enjoying herself with a grin. Then I get it. I ran into her and she looked into the house anyway. Dirty urgh.
"It was nothing!" I call. He turns around.
"it was nothing? Your lips on his is nothing?" He says. I shake my head.
"I mean it meant nothing." I say softly. "Let me-" He interrupts me.
"So if I do this." it happened quickly. Mason places his lips on Mila's and pushes her away from him again. "This kiss didn't mean anything either, did it?" He looks at me for a moment and continues. I stand helplessly. Mila herself seemed shocked by Mason's action, but now she just grins. I feel my eyes sting. I turn and walk towards my safe. I grab my vest and a few more books and continue to the reception. The woman behind the counter looks at me with a smile.
"I've come to call in sick."
