Chapter Forty-One

"They're gone?" He asked and I nodded as he leaned down kissing me. "Good." He mumbled, as he opened my door, and I slipped in, he leaned down and kissed me again, as sat in the front. He went around then got in and I drove home, once we got in the elevator.

"How do you celebrate your birthday in Asgard?" I asked.

"Well, in all truth not many Asgardians do celebrate their day of birth, but in the palace between Thor, his friends, and I, we would feast, and I would just have my fun of mischief." He said and I nodded as we walked onto the living room floor. "Is this how you've done it on Midgard? Just treating the person?" He asked and I nodded.

"I don't remember my young birthdays, but, I know there should be a party, but you don't prefer those here, but there's one more thing," I said and he hummed looking at me curiously. "I'm gonna ask you, do you want the full experience 'cause it might be embarrassing for both of us," I said and he moved to the couch and sat down.

"In all honesty, I would love to see." He smirked, I huffed and nodded going and turning off the lights. "Are the lights necessary?" He asked and I hummed.

"Yes," I said and opened the fridge, I got him a cupcake that has a specialized order, I knew he thought things like this were funny, so I went all out and got a little mimic of his helmet made, it already had a birthday candle on it and I picked it up after lighting it and turned, I let out a huff readying myself for this embarrassment and began singing happy birthday, the moment his eyes landed on me he burst into laughter, his hands flying to his face. "Shut up or I'll stop!" I laughed, through it.

"Okay! Okay!" He wiped his teary eyes. "Go ahead." He cleared his throat, I continued and placed it in front of him.

"Happy birthday to you." I finished. "That was the hardest thing ever."

"At least your voice is beautiful."

"Don't flatter me, I wasn't trying." I smiled and moved to sit next to him. "Now, you make a wish, and blow the candle out," I said and he hummed and moved down, blowing out the candle immediately. "That was fast," I said.

"I don't need a wish." He said and I looked at him. "Except for one." He said and I nodded. "Can I tell you?" He asked.

"If you want." I smiled, he stood up and grabbed my hands, pulling me up, he waved his hand and I heard the music start playing.

"I wish..." He whispered as he pulled me to him. "To be with you always, and that my father accepts it." He mumbled and I bit my lip, he started to sway holding me, and as we began dancing, I smiled.

"I would wish for that too," I whispered as he spun me, he pulled me back and swayed with his arms around my waist and mine around his neck. "I never struck you as the romantic type," I whispered and I giggled.

"Well, we all have our surprises." He leaned down, his nose brushing into mine.

"I love you, Prince," I whispered.

"I love you as well, dearly, Princess." He moved me into a dip as he also lowered me onto the couch, the one facing the whole room, including the elevator, I wasn't paying attention at all, except to the music, to him over top of me, I looked up at him, he moved down, his hand came up around my neck and I giggled as he smiled down at me. He moved down at kissed me, and as our lips connected, and he pressed into me, we both froze hearing a sound of a small gasp, he pulled from me and we both turned to see Both my Sister and Natasha, Natasha sighed.
