The Power Within

War

Anderson took off in air, right hand balled in a fist ready to punch. The rest followed and as soon as Alex saw the Saiyan in the air she and the other charged forward.

The male Saiyan was only a few yards away from the nearest Daximits. "You will receive no mercy from me!" Anderson yelled. His fist opened up flat and he released an enery blast killing the 3 Daximits in front of him.

As the lifeless bodies fell, the unoccupied Daximits in air stopped in shock. They weren't expecting the heros of Earth to kill and with such little effort.

Without another warning Anderson lunged forward and with three hard blows to their chests, 3 more Daximits fell to their death.

Kara made sure Lena, Sam and Ruby were safe in a secure room. Kara pulled Lena aside and placed a passionate kiss on the green eyed beauty's lips.

"I love you Lena. No matter what happens, I'll be ok." Kara whispered in her ear as she held Lena tight.

Lena pulled back and slid a hand in Kara's, "I love you more than anything Kara." She's trying so hard not to let the tears fall. She still had that bad feeling in her gut. She placed one last kiss on the blonde's lips before fully pulled away.

Kara looked at Lena one last time with a reassuring smile. She watched as Lena walked towards Sam. What Kara didn't see was the tears starting to stream down Lena's cheeks.

Once Lena was out of sight, Kara found Zen and they made their way to the roof.

After about five minutes of spectating, a few Daximits noticed both females. One flew towards Kara. She heat visioned him and he flew away.

The other came after the Saiyan. She stepped back form the edge and waited. She side stepped causing the Daximit to miss his mark, he stumbled forward. The Saiyan saw her opportunity and punch him in the gut.

Pure agony was written on his face. He stepped back holding his gut while coughing up blood.

Zen smirked.

She grabbed him by the mouth and lifted him up. "Want to know what death tastes like." She smiled, walking him to the edge.

All he could do was groan in pain.

Light illuminated form the Saiyan's hand. The Daximit tried to communicate something but his voice was muffled.

"Zen wait!" Kara said taking a step towards them but it was too late.

The Saiyan released the energy in her hand. The Daximit's body went limp and she loosened her grip. She watched as he fell so many stories and he landed on the ground with a huge thud.

"You didn't have to kill him." She said with a bit of worry and disgust in her eyes.

"Please. Spear me your morals Supergirl. I eliminated a threat." Zen's voice was stern and cold.

"But heroes don't kill." She simply said.

Zen turned to Kara, "and that's were you and I are different Supergirl. I'm not a hero. I'm a warrior." She paused. "This is war. It's them or us."

Kara pressed her lips together. As much as she hates to admit it, Zen is right. This is a war. It is them or us. She doesn't like the idea of taking life but right now she has to push that down.

"That Daximit you injured, is attacking your sister." Zen said.

Kara's eyes widened and she looked over the edge scanning for Alex.

"At least she has the balls to put him down."

Kara watched as Alex interacted with said alien. She blasted him with her ray gun a few times and that was the end of him.
