The Power Within

War pt. 3

Kara watched from the mountains edge. The way Zen fought was like nothing she had ever seen before. It was incredible. It shows that she's been training since she was little. Kara has seen skilled fights before but nothing like this.

What she can't really believe is the new way Rhea was fighting. The first time they fought she didn't show this kind of skill. Even earlier when they fought it was nothing like this. Was she hiding it the whole time? She continued to watch and heal as the fight went on.

"Enough of this warm up." Kara heard with her super hearing. "Let's fight for real."

Kara was taken aback by the fact that both were still holding back power. What was more compelling was how  adamant Zen was about a full power fight.

The ground began to shake a little then Kara's ears picked up on Zen bellowing. Her eyes noticed an aura surrounded the Saiyan. The ground shook more and more the bigger the aura got. Once Zen's aura stopped growing, the sound of a shock wave could be heared and felt.

"Now let the fun begin." Kara heard the excitement in the Saiyan's voice.

The fight continued, thier fists collided and another boom could be heared.

Zen is moving a lot faster now. So is Rhea.

One thing Kara wasn't expecting was a ball of light that Rhea was creating in her hand. This was something completely new to the Kryptonian. 

"Zenara get out of the way!" She yelled but was rendered speechless when Zen stood her ground and sliced the ball of light in half with her hand.

What the hell was that?

"That was a pitiful excuse for an energy attack!"

So that's an energy attack.

Kara was in awe when the Saiyan released about 50-65 balls of yellow light, well, balls of energy. They surrounded the Daximit, blocking off all her escape routes. They all came crashing down, exploding as they touched her.

Who are these Saiyans?

Kara has never sat back and watched a fight. This one was entertaining to say the least. The longer she watched the more intense the fight got.

Once again Kara couldn't believe what was happening. Rhea was keeping up with Zen. She was blocking and dodging with ease.

Rhea began gathering energy in her hands again. This time she gathered a lot more energy than before. She released a beam of light, an energy blast that both Kara and the Saiyan weren't ready for.

The Saiyan didn't have time to move out of the way. She tried to push it back or stop it from moving any closer but her attempt failed. The blast consumed her and caused an explosion.

Kara was again at a loss for words. When the dust settled Zen was lying there on the ground. Kara listened for a heart beat. She was still alive but just knocked out.

The Kryptonian got to her feet and flew down to the battle field. With their battle, Zen had bought her enough time to heal.

"I'm back Rhea. Let's finish this." Kara said taking her fighting stance.

"Supergirl I will end you if it's the last thing I do." Rhea lunged forward not wasting any time.

A fist met Kara's cheek. Another fist was coming her way but she managed to step out of the way just in time. She used her heat vision on the Daximit and she jumped back, away from the blonde.

Kara lunged forward and landed about 5 punches. Some to the gut and others to the enemy's face. She heat visioned her again but Rhea moved out of the way. But not before getting hit in the arm by said heart vision.
