The Gang is All Here

3 Days Later

Sam has become a pro at meditating and communicating with her second half. It has become part of her daily routine just after 3 days. The potential darkness has her worried for the safety of her child.

She sat and meditated, within 5 minutes she made contact. "Reign are you here?"

"Hello Sam. Another visit. Why?" She said stepping out from behind a bolder.

Sam still wasn't use to the landscape of her mind. The darkness yes but the landscape, a dark forest. Almost like the dark forest from one of Ruby's wizard books.

"I've been visiting a lot because I want us to be friends."

"Friends?" Reign was taken aback by this. "Why?"

"I have a daughter that means the world to me. If you are my dark side I don't want you to hurt her."

"Ah yes. The offspring that has more of our DNA then her fathers. That low life scum, if I were in control it would have been a man deserving of a powerful being like us. Honestly I don't know what you saw in that man."

"What!? You saw all that?" Sam was completely shocked.

"Sam I've been with you since birth. I was there every step of the way. Through the good and the bad." Reign paused. "Now this child of yours, she's mine too. One day, she will succeed where I have failed."

"Succeed in what?"

"Taking over the world." An evil smirk ran across Reign'a face.

"No! Ruby is sweetest girl I know. And I'm not just saying that because she my child."

"Our child."

Sam was hesitant, "right. But still."

Reign sighed, "don't worry Sam. Don't tell anyone what I'm about to tell you but Ruby is the only thing I love. I would never hurt her."

Hearing those words put Sam's mind at ease. A little. At least she knows Ruby would be safe. Sam wanted to ask about the whole taking over the world thing but she could feel that her time was running out.

Reign smirk grew bigger and started walking away. "Till next time. Friend."

Sam's vision blurred and her mind returned to her body. Her mind began to wonder, "should I tell someone about Reign try to take over the world?"

"No, don't." Sam hear a voice in her head.

"Reign? How can I hear you so clearly?"

"When I said I wouldn't hurt Ruby I gained some of your trust. Were growing closer to each other. Soon we will be able to switch minds at will."

Sam doesn't know how she feels about that last part but maybe if she doesn't tell anyone about her second half's plan, Reign might start trusting her a bit more and maybe, just maybe, Sam could convince Reign to abandon her plans of world domination.

Zenara's PoV

Training has been going a lot smoother now that Mon-El left us. I like the guy but damn, he lacks discipline. If I wasn't on a timeline I'd whip him into shape. Turning him into a worrier.

Ruby's strength has increased tenfold. I'm proud of her. Her mom would be proud of her too. I can't wait til Sam finds out her daughter inherited her power.

"Alright guys, time for lunch. We'll meet up back her in two hours." I said drinking the last of my water.

I picked up 5 bacon cheese burgers from the nearest burger joint and flew to that same grassy hill I passed out at a while back. I ate happily as the birds chirped and a light breeze blew through my hair. The crisp fall air filled my nostrils. After my last burger I decided to meditate. I want to clear my mind and focus on the big power level headed our way.
