The little box beside them started beeping.

"Another."

"What on Earth- Look, I told you so! Don't mix around! Have you any idea how much trouble this little warugaki caused us? Two senior level Investigator, dead, and one of them resigned-"

Nurse Taguchi went up to them and said worriedly, "Doctor, her Rc-level wouldn't stop increasing."

"Never mind, hand me another Rc-suppresant."
The nurse handed him another syringe filled with Rc-suppresants but the girl's Rc-level is increasing like a maniac. The CCG Head Researcher, Kouitsu Chigyu, still drones on behind them.
"God know what you are doing this days! You are causing me so much trouble. You got CCG into a really deep sh!t this time."

"Without me, Project Quinx wouldn't even take flight. CCG owes me too many favors. They would keep quiet about it." said Doctor Kanou calmly while the machine beeped away.

Halfway through the operation, the girl opened her eyes and tried to sit up. The nurse gave a blood curdling scream while Kouitsu yelled,"What the hell-"

Only Doctor Kanou remained calm. He stopped Akira from getting up and said, "Hello. What is your name?"

The girl flickered her eyelids.

"Uta..."

"Do you remember anything?"

" I want... Uta-san."

The doctor frowned."Who is Uta-san?"

"Uta.."

She closed her eyes and appeared unconscious again.

"Oh my God, what have you done? You baka - You just- "

But the doctor ignored his jibe and asked the nurse to pass him a surgical scissors, which she did with shaking hands.
The Doctor carefully cut away the last ends of the final stitch before stepping back and looked at the still-beeping Rc-scanner. It was steadily rising from 6000 to 7000, despite the eight injections of Rc-suppresant.

Just as suddenly, the patient coughed in a state of oblivion. She was still for a second before she twitched violently, vomitting blood.

The Rc-scanner started to beep more rapidly before a hiss of steam issued from it, and it went dead. But not before Doctor Kanou could see the still-increasing reading of 11000 before it's screen went black.

There was a frozen shock of silence between the three of them and the girl, whose mouth was still issuing blood. And then, she twitched again, once, twice, before a ernomous, long red tentacle-like kakuhou emerge from her back, swiping violently around destroying all the equipments in the lab and Kouitsu, who had not duck when the kakuhou swiped past, was sliced into two.

The girl continued trashing around with a new pair of kakuhou that came from her back. Her eyes was still closed and her face was expressionless. Everything in the lab was destroyed within a minute, including Doctor Kanou and his nurse. Just then, she fell back to the operating bed and it was silence once more.

It's too bad I use the app to update my story, or I would have used the dedication function a long time ago. Oh well...
