11. the unexpected

TOKYO JUJUTSU TECHNICAL SCHOOL

today was the day of the merger, the third day amanai had been with the jujutsu sorcerers. if she were to go through with the merger, then they would soon have to say goodbye.

"everyone! we can take it easy for a bit now," geto announced, "we're inside jujutsu high's barrier."

"what a relief!" amanai cheers.

"yeah," kuroi sadly smiled.

the little girl she had been taking care of for so long, time was running out until the merger. she couldn't help but smile though, not letting her sadness affect the fourteen year old's mood.

"satoru," geto glanced at him, "thanks for the hard work."

"no more!" he huffed while deactivating the infinity he had on for the whole time, "no more babysitting."

"what!?" amanai was angered by the way he decided to word things.

mayumi frowned while stepping in front of the white-haired male. she gently picked up his chin with her hand, "this is why i told you not to over- uh!"

feeling a sharp pain in her upper chest, mayumi looked down as her hand was still under gojo's chin. they both see a sword stabbed right through them.

TOJI FUSHIGURO had thrusted a sword into both teenagers. his theory was correct, mayumi wouldn't be able to use her cursed technique when sustaining major injuries.

gojo sweats as he turns around, "do i know you from somewhere?"

fushiguro smirks, "don't sweat it. i'm not one to remember some dude's name either."

the white-haired male sends the zenin back, one of geto's cursed spirits goes to swallow him. "sato-" geto cut himself off at the sight in front of him. amanai and kuroi could only stare in horror.

since the sword was pulled out, mayumi found herself coughing out blood as she stared into gojo's blue eyes.

drops of crimson hit his face, eyes widening at the blood mayumi tried to stop from coming out of her mouth. her hand covered it as she stumbled into gojo's arms, the male making her lay facing up.
