after losing to yamagata, miwa roamed around the forest without being able to do anything. she didn't really have her own cursed technique and depended on her sword.

after picking up a phone call from mechumaru's cellphone, the girl greeted whoever was on the other line. though, she wasn't expecting the command.

miwa's eyes fluttered shut as she dropped to the ground, her phone landing beside her. because of her lack of consciousness, miwa was now retired from the game.

"i'm heading out," iori stood up from her seat as soon as they all saw what happened in the monitoring room.

satoru hummed, "huh?"

"it's dangerous leaving her there in a forest full of cursed spirits."

even though they were lower-graded cursed spirits, a curse was a curse. the fights among other students were also destroying parts of the forest. there was no telling what could happen to miwa if she remained without help.

"yes, i'm worried about miwa. hurry and get her," gakuganji stroked his beard, unusually more chipper than he usually was.

mayumi noted his attitude before agreeing, "i agree. we wouldn't want kasumi-chan getting hurt, would we?"

the black-haired teacher was walking towards the door when all the talismans on the wall had suddenly burned red. mayumi uncrossed her legs from the odd occurrence.
