23. long-awaited

mayumi's heart was still racing as the students, including yamagata, had left the family of four alone. this was a moment for their eyes and ears only.

five years and she gets to see the love of her life again, but how was he going to react? he wasn't the type to care too much about a lot of things, but this was her and their children.

both children grinned at their father, showing their small and unshapely teeth. it was adorable, causing satoru's lips to curl up into a smile.

"you're the person they've wanted to meet for so long," mayumi informed him, "best not disappoint them."

"who do you think i am?"

"quite the womanizer."

a small smile had also made it to mayumi's face when replying with the same thing she had years ago. seeing satoru again was something she had also wished for a while, and now it was granted.

"womainaiza? what's that?" tomio tilted his head.

naomi shook hers then had a proud look, "mama said womanazier."
