37. women are scary

this is the final written chapter. the next will be the spoilers for the rest of the fic

shoko ieiri did not get paid enough for her job. yes, her income was still fairly large, but the work was super draining. she's even got heavy eye bags from how often someone comes in injured.

but not everything can be fixed if she completely exhausts herself. the brown-haired woman already used her reverse cursed technique on inumaki and kamo by the time panda came into the infirmary.

'what the hell happened?'

ieiri watched as panda let them all down besides yamagata. it was when the semi-grade one sorcerer was placed on one of the examination tables that the doctor could see the large red stains on panda's fur.

she asked, "who's the most injured?"

"treat yamagata first," fushiguro sharply inhaled as the roots in his stomach were incredibly uncomfortable, "he's lost so much blood that he's unconscious."

ieiri didn't say any more while she walked up to yamagata and held her hand out. positive energy, which had a white cloudy sort of glow, came from her hand and made contact with the hole in his stomach. skin and muscle began to grow back when ieiri noticed the boy's missing arm.

unlike others, the woman did not have what seemed like boundless reserves of cursed energy. the amount she has was great but it could only do so much.

"what the hell!? what happened?"

"just heal her, shoko!" the young gojo set mayumi on the table.

the special grade sorcerer was littered with cuts and had a missing arm. mayumi was already incredibly strong at fifteen years old, so ieiri could only wonder what made her falter.

pushing that thought aside, the brown-haired teenager used her reverse cursed technique as satoru watched intently. despite not even being together, he sure showed how much he loved her.

"panda," she called for the stuffed cursed corpse, "wrap up the bottom of his arm to stop the bleeding. the bandages are in the cabinet near my desk."

ieiri was healing maki as panda questioned, "you're not going to heal his arm?"

"it doesn't sound logical, but bringing back full limbs is even more difficult than healing cuts and holes in someone's body. it would take me at least a week to bring his arm back," the news caused an uncomfortable shift in the atmosphere as panda didn't dwell on it any longer.
