(MW) Nikolai x Pregnant! Reader

Y/N watched the tests, about four of them, reveal positive on them. Y/Ns suspicions were confirmed..she was indeed pregnant.

Her breathing became ragged as she quickly tried to steady it. One thing replayed in her mind, how was she going to yell nikolai?

Her husband was asleep on their couch, with the tv displaying the news channel. Taking in deep breaths, Y/N strided over to the couch, patting his head ever so gently.

"Nikolai?" Y/N asked quickly. Her heart beated quickly as she turned away, not realizing hes woken up.

"Honey whats wrong?" Nikolai smiled, cupping her face and looking up tp her position behind the chair.

"I have something to tell you..." Y/N looked pale as a ghost.

"Dont be afraid, whats wrong? I wont be angry." his words comforted her ever so slightly.

"Im pregnant."

"Im," nikolai paused, taking in the new news properly.

"Im going to be a father..?" Nikolai said in disbelief before a smile flashed on his features.

He got up at once, walking over to the back of the couch, hugging Y/N to lift her up and spin her around the room.

"Im going to be a dad! Im going to be a dad!"

Y/N giggled, watching her husband light up one million times over with immeasurable joy.

"I love you so much, i cannot believe it!" Nikolai laughed, laying her on top of him on the chair sweetly.

"I love you too, Nikolai." Y/N chirped.

"Youll be the best mother, and i'll be the best father ever." Nikolais smile only grew wider, sharing the happiness with his Wife.

- (a week after the birth)

Y/N and Nikolai sat on the bed with their bundle of happiness in between them. The baby stirred in their sleep, reaching out for something to grab. Nikolai pushed out a finger for his baby to grab, and they softly pulled on it.

"Theyre so cute." Y/N sighed happily, feeling tired yet satisfied.

Y/N shut her eyes for a little, reopening upon hearing kissy noises and cooing sounds.

She woke up to Nikolai lulling the baby to sleep, after it started to cry.

"Youll be the best dad." Y/N spoke softly in his ear.

"I already am!~"
