"Simon, we cant have you on this mission."

"What? Why?!"

"We're afraid your emotions will be in the way of the mis-"

First you move me. Now, i cant even save my girlfriend?

"I refuse." Simon snapped bluntly, behind his shades, his eyes could only focus on the lowlife who he could only tell was fraternizing with the enemy.

"So who could go? People that CANT shoot straight? Hell, they moved me here to TRAIN YOU LACKEYS. Dont give that to me. I. Am. Your. Superior."

"But-"

"Youre off the team if i hear ANOTHER WORD!" He shot daggers at the man with just his gaze, taking his rightful place as their captain.

The man averted his gaze, and went back in line with the rest of troops.

All he could think of was how they had probably treated her, what they couldve done, what they might have do-

Simon realized his phone is still in his pocket. He hastily took it out, unlocked it and saw a notification pop up.

Sent you a video

He opened it, wasting no time. Deep down inside he knew, in the pit of his stomach, he knew what that video was.

But he dared to open it.

"Si-simon..! Please help-" Were the only audible mumbles from Y/Ns ductaped mouth. The rest were pure screams of horror and agony as she was whipped.

"Come get your little girlfriend, Riley,"

"Do you dare to do this?" He ripped the ductape off.

"I will not give you our base whereabouts-!" She snarled. Simon knew she still had fight left in her, hell, he knew her like the back of his hand.

"SHUT the fuck up." She was slapped hard, enough for contact to be audible.

Simon tried his best not to fling the phone into the concrete, but instead flung it at the newbie who had attempted to defy him.

"See that, chump? Thats going to be you if YOU DONT GET OUT OF MY SIGHT."

"S-Sir yes sir!"

"I need backup." Y/N hissed. The chair she had been tied down to, now in pieces, the rope used to tie her down, now used to hang their enemy.

"I. NEED. BACKUP." She hissed louder, through gritted teeth, at her salvaged device. Thankfully they didnt break it upon capturing her, but instead confiscated it.

She located it right after the hanging, taking on about 4 other gaurds along the way. Brain matter scattered everywhere, as she punched the fourth gaurd for the millionth time.

You can never be too careful.

"Y/N-? Hello! Ghost to (Operative name)!"

A static emitted from the radio, just barely passing through. They must have a jammer somewhere thats blocking most if not all of the signal.

"Ghost! Ghost! Do. You. Read?!" She frantically spun around after speaking into the radio.

SPLAT!

"(Op name), (op name?!) Do you copy?!"

Y/N, now knocked out on the floor, with metallicy red blood oozing from her forehead.

"Serves that bitch right." He spat on her knocked out face, crushing the radio by stomping on it.

BANG!

A new hole formed in the captors head, successfully splitting it open and killing him.

"Shit, dont tell me im too late." Ghost murmured worriedly, putting a few bullets into The enemys head, making sure they didnt survive.

He gracefully picked up Y/N, walking back to the troop outside, and the helo close by.

He dared, and won.

"Y/N?" She heard her name slip out of someones mouth, along with the battering sound of spinning helicopter blades.

Y/N stirred in her sleep, just barely opened her eyes. It finally set in for how tired she was.

"Shh, dont move, youve been through alot these past few days," Simon began, stroking her bloodied hair ever so gently.

"I love you, im so glad youre safe..alive..and out of there. Youre my fighter." He cooed, with his thick accent making her giggle weakly.

"Sleep, youve earned it after everything."

"Sleep." He patted her head gently.

The whirring of the blades, his humming and the distant radio chatter put her to sleep, with ease.

They dared, and won.
