~ Narration ~

After that day where Kokichi came to Sakusa and Ushijima's residence he found out about Atsumu's coma and fell to pieces dramatically but for once he was sincere in his emotions since he had grown to like his little "puppy".

After that Osamu made the heavy decision to let his twin remain under the care of Sakusa and Ushijima because deep down, he could see just how much the two cared for his brother even if they hadn't openly spoke about it yet.

So as Atsumu remained in a coma Sakusa and Ushijima continued to stay by his side unless they were really needed at the base and even then, they were reluctant to leave him so they would make Osamu or Kokichi come to their home and watch over him until they came back.

The relationship between Osamu and his two bosses continued to evolve as well over the course of time, he was allowed to address the two of them by name now and they even allowed him to come over to their manor to stay with Atsumu or just to chill when the twins home grew too quiet without Tsumu's presence around.

Osamu's squad was also feeling the difference in the energy without Atsumu there to pull everyone together so missions were carried out swiftly and silently since everyone just wasn't feeling the same without him.

As the weeks flew by Atsumu's body was healing properly and the bruises began to fade while his head wound slowly healed itself up as well. More and more gauze was being removed from his skin as he healed up and soon his skin went back to the flawless way it was before but while this went down, he still hadn't awakened yet.

At the two-month mark Shirabu had come back from the U.S.A to check up on Atsumu's condition and make sure all his wounds on the inside were healed up and that there was no chance of infections whatsoever. As Shirabu did his physical exam on Atsumu's body he noticed that Atsu was actually beginning to respond to physical stimulation such as pressure on his muscles made his body twitch in response and his reflexes were beginning to show reactions.

Shirabu let Sakusa and Ushijima know the good news and the two had damned near cried right there but they managed to pull themselves together just in time, only to fall apart in tears of joy later that night once Shirabu had gone back.

Osamu would come by and simply lay next to his twin while he thought about the things he wanted to say once he woke up but nothing would come to him so the two of them just lay together in peaceful silence. The connection between the twins was very evident to Ushijima and Sakusa who would occasionally peek in on these moments, sometimes Osamu would even hold a hand over his brother's heart to reassure himself that he would be okay.

Those sweet moments between them were always heartwarming to the two alpha males that would have to go away from the room at how sickeningly cute it was.

But finally, after a rough two and a half months things were starting to get interesting....

Atsumu's P.O.V ~

There was a dark but pleasant feeling surrounding me, it had been this way for a while as I roamed around this open white space. I couldn't feel anything but the warmth of the room I was in as well as the blank silence encapturing my mind.
