Marriage Proposal

You woke up with the sunlight shining upon your face. You checked your phone for messages and you saw one that told you that Aria was coming over to your room for breakfast so you got up early and took a long bubble bath. You put on a beige dress and ran downstairs to prepare breakfast. You carried and extra chair to the table for Aria and got all the utensils ready while your food was still cooking. When you put on of the forks in your hand down, you felt a tight yet warm hug from behind. It was obviously Xiao Kai since he was the only one in the house who would do that early in the morning and you could recognize the warmth from his body on that cold winter morning.

"So what are you making? Er Yuan seemed very excited for breakfast."Xiao Kai said with his chin laying on your shoulder.

"He's always excited for breakfast. It's his first meal of everyday and I'm making pancakes  so I need you to let go if not you''l have to go to seven eleven to buy our breakfast."You said with a pink face and tried to free yourself from his grasp since Wang Yuan and Qian Xi was watching from a far. He reluctantly let go and pouted while saying, "Awww, I wanted to hug you more."

When you wanted to reply, a knock on the main door interrupted you.

"That must be Aria. She told me she was coming over for breakfast."you said with a smile on your face.

"Why does she have to come? She always ruins all the alone time I want to have with you." Xiao Kai said as you reached for the door handle. Your face blushed a bit but it was only light pink. It all vanished when you saw what was on the other side of the door. On the other side of the door was a beautiful girl around your age that seemed so much more beautiful to you but at least that was what you thought. When the door opened, she was smiling but when she saw you her face immediately changed into a sign of disgust. She pushed you aside and entered the house without permission. When she saw Xiao Kai her face lit up again. She ran to Xiao Kai's side and linked her arms to his. She looked up at Xiao Kai.

"Xiao Kai! I've missed you! Did you miss me? That all doesn't matter. What matters is that I'm here, and Xiao Kai. Who is she? Is she a maid here?"asked the girl with gleaming eyes.

"Xiao Ling, this is (y/n) and (y/n), this is Xiao Ling. She is Xiao Kai's fiancee." Wang Yuan said entering the dining room with Qian Xi. 

With that last sentence, with those five words, it was enough to put you in despair. You closed the door and headed upstairs to your room with your head down. You felt Xiao Kai grab your hand as you walked upstairs.

"Sorry, I wanted to tell you but I couldn't."Xiao Kai tolg you with guilt in his eyes. You wanted to look up and take a good look at his face once more but Xiao Ling slapped your hand away from his.

"Xiao Kai, don't touch filthy things like that."Xiao Ling said with a face of disgust once again and you couldn't help it but run to your room with tears overflowing from your eyes. You hid your face with a pillow and when you heard another knock on your door, you couldn't care to answer it. You were afraid that it was Xiao Kai. You were even more afraid if it was Xiao Ling. You didn't care if anyone bullies you but Xiao Ling was Xiao Kai's fiancee. She was linked with Xiao Kai ever since little or worse, ever since birth. You heard a second knock on your door and heard Aria's voice. She opened the door and closed it being giving you a big hug.

"I know you don't do hugs and I know it hurts but you have to accept reality and deal with it. You also have to know that no matter what happens, I am always by your side to support you."Aria said still hugging you.

"Thanks, I know I can always depend on you to give me advice."you said forcing a smile on your face.

"Don't smile. It will only hurt more. I don't know why but I am always the friend that always gives great love advises but still doesn't have a boyfriend." You laughed a bit and told her,

"That's because you know when they're lying to you so you won't get hurt."you said sinking your face back down into your pillow.

Half an hour passed by and you decided to not stay in your room anymore and get out to have some fun.

"Aria, come on! We can't stay here forever. Let's go to the arcade!"you said with a fist in the air.

"Now, that's the (y/n) i know."Aria replied as she dragged you to the arcade.

When the two of you were reaching for the door, Xiao Kai stopped you and asked where the two of you were headed. You shook your hand free from his and looked at him in the eye but couldn't stop the tears from flowing out of your eyes.

"We're going to the arcade."You said with a frown before putting on your shoes and headed to the arcade with Aria.

You spent a lot of time there with Aria playing fighting games and shooting games. You even broke some of the highest records in the arcade. When you finished challenging the best player in the arcade and won, you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turned your head and saw Xiao Kai, Wang Yuan, Qian Xi and Xiao Ling.

"You never told me you were that good in video games."Xiao Kai said with a smirk,"And coincidentally, this game is also my specialty. et's have a bet. If I win, you have to do another favor for me and if you win, I'll do one thing and that is anything you want."

"Coincidentally, I'm in. "

You smirked from his challenge and you have always like challenges like these, especially for this game. Little did he know that you won first place in a tournament for that game and got $100 000 as a reward.

"Bring it on."you said, smiling evilly.

"How come I have a feeling you're gonna regret this, Xiao Kai?"Wang Yuan asked while looking at you.

"Of course he is gonna regret this. (Y/n) won a-"Aria said while smiling proudly but was interrupted by you.

"Shhh. Aria, you wouldn't want to ruin the surprise for them do you? I want to enjoy crushing his spirits."you said still smiling evilly.

"How come her attitude suddenly changed?"Xiao Kai asked.

"That's because she's playing a game. If she is playing a game and she loses because of you disturbing her. Trust me, you don't want that to happen."Aria said, looking like she was recalling a terrible childhood memory.

"Whatever, just hurry up. I wanna get out of here already." said Xiao Ling.

"If you can't stand being here then might as well leave. No one wants you here."Aria said while pointing to the exit. Xiao Ling let out a loud, "Hmmph!" before leaving the arcade. Aria just smiled and gave you a high five. You just put in the tokens for the match and chose your character. After the first round ended with you winning, Xiao Kai asked for a rematch.

"Sigh. Xiao Kai. Just give up before you owe her too much. "Aria said with a hand on his shoulder.

"Haha! Xiao Kai,  you just got defeated by a girl."Wang Yuan said laughing.

"You don't know how wrong you are. When (y/n) is into a game. There is no way to stop her from playing unless something really important happened.
"Really? Guess I'll test her then. "Xiao Kai said with a smirk. He got up from his seat you were still in the game since he decided to give up and lose. He walk beside you and leaned to your right ear and whispered in your ear.

"You know, since you won the bet there is something you can make me do and I'll gladly do it. "he said with a smirk.

"Oh yeah? And what is that? " you asked directing your attention to him.

"I'll make you my fiancee. "said Xiao Kai lifting your chin up.
