Getting Sick is a Way

You woke up to a great and bright morning. It was only a week after your birthday and things have went by smoothly. You were getting ready for school when you heard a loud sneeze. You walked out of your room to Xiao Kai's room.

"What was that? Are you all okay? "you asked with a worried look while peeking from their room door.

"It's not all that great."Wang Yuan said looking at you.

"Xiao Kai is sick."Qian Xi said looking at you as well.

"Really? Yeah you're right."You said as you placed you right hand on his forehead and your left hand on yours.

You let go and looked at the clock. You ran downstairs and grabbed a thermometer. You measured his temperature and he caught a really high fever.

"I don't think he can take care of himself. Not in this condition he isn't."you said with a worried face while looking at the two of them.

"Then how about you take care of him. If we don't hurry we'll be late." Wang Yuan said as he rushed to class with Qian Xi. You let out a deep sigh and grabbed those types of sticky cold straps and you placed it on his head.

After that, you made porridge for him and placed it beside his bed.

"Are you okay? Can you eat this by yourself?"You asked looking worried.

"I think I can but I want you to feed me."Xiao Kai said with a smirk. You blushed and took a spoonful of porridge.

You blew the porridge in the spoon until you think it wasn't hot anymore. You moved the spoon closer to him and your face was getting closer to his as well.

When you were just close enough, he grabbed the collar of your shirt and pulled your face so close that the two of you kissed. You were shocked from what he did but you didn't dare to move because you thought he would pull away and you didn't want that. When he pulled away he said words that confused you.

"Thanks once again for the delicious meal but I am pretty sure that I am hungry for more."Xiao Kai said as he gave you a wide smirk. You blushed madly from his words but you just closed your eyes and expected him to kiss you again but instead he just blushed and looked away.

"I mean I'm hungry for porridge. It smells delicious."he said while blushing as well.

You immediately opened your eyes and blushed madly because you thought he wanted to kiss you again so you ran out of the room to the kitchen. You placed your right hand at your heart and you panted.

That was so stupid! Arghhh. (y/n), you moron. Why did you even think he wanted to kiss you again. Of course he meant that he wanted the porridge.

You thought to yourself as you blushed madly in the kitchen. You suddenly felt two arms around your waist. You blushed even more and turned around to see Xiao Kai.

"You know I really need you back in my room to continue my delicious meal."He smirked as he hugged you from the back.

"You keep toying with me using complicated words."You said as you pouted.

"I like you like this. You look cute like this. In fact, you look cute 24/7."Xiao Kai said as he turned you around and stroke your face.

"D-D-Don't. Geez! I don't know what to say. "you said as you pouted even more.

"Okay Okay. I just want you to go back to my room and feed me that bowl of delicious porridge before it gets cold."He said as he looked into your eyes.

"If you can walk down here then I think you can eat without my help. "you said trying not to give in.

"Come on. Please? I want my girlfriend to feed me on a sick day. "he said as he pulled your face to his direction so that he could look at your face.

"Fine. "you dais with a red face as you walked into his room. Xiao Kai ran in and jumped onto the bed playfully.

You fed him and the bowl of porridge was empty in no time. You were going to carry it downstairs to clean it but Xiao Kai pulled you back and gave you another hug from behind.

"Thanks for the meal."he whispered softly into your ears that made you blush.

"Which way do you mean by that?"you asked with a red face.

"Every way possible."he said as he let go of you.

"You're welcome?"you said unsure as you grabbed the bowl of porridge shakily downstairs.

He's too good at playing words. My brain can't catch up.

You thought while getting stressed out. You suddenly felt a pair of arms around your waist and you blushed as you knew it was the same person that messed with your head.

"Who is making the darling in my heart stressed out here? "he asked with a smirk as he placed his chin on your shoulder.

"Y-You of course."You replied as you blushed madly.

"Awww. How can apologize? I will do whatever I can do to repay my debt. "Xiao Kai whispered into your pink ears.

"Y-You don't need to. I don't mind."you said as you continued to blushed madly and you tried to do the dishes.

"Well, I have a good idea on how to repay the debt."Xiao Kai said with another smirk as he lifted your chin up.

"D-D-Don't! I mean I- I don't. Arghhh. I don't know anything anymore."you said as you covered your ears for no reason. Xiao Kai pulled your hands away and held them in his.

"You don't need to anything. You just need to know that I love you more than anything the universe has to offer."Xiao Kai said those words sweetly as he starred into your dark brown eyes.

"You better go back to bed. You're sick. I'll bring you your medicine so just wait upstairs, in your room."You said as you blushed and pushed him up the stairs.

You quickly washed the dishes and took the pills he had to take and a glass of mineral water. You knocked on the door and pushed it open. In the room was Xiao Kai sleeping soundly on his bed. You placed the medicine on a small desk and moved in closer to his face.

"He looks so cute in bed."you said softly to yourself as you blushed a bit. Xiao Kai suddenly shot his eyes open and pulled you into bed with a smirk.

"Wh-what are you doing?" you asked with a bright pink face as his lips were only a few millimetres apart.

"Getting you bed of course."he said as he smirked and held you even closer to him around your waist.

"I-I'll get sick if I get too close to you."you said as you tried to look away.

"Well getting sick is a way."
