The Dream Dance of a lifetime

Prologue

I just can't believe I didn't make it into the high school's cheerleading team. I feel like that I am not needed and the cheerleading coach Mrs Johnson think that my two besties Penny and Coraline are better cheerleaders than me. I can't believe that Mrs Johnson gave Penny an A on her PE assessment on Rhythmic Gymnastics and I got a B. Which sucks because Penny isn't really a rhythmic gymnastics person and I am one of the best rhythmic gymnastics students in this school. How can that be? Oh I guess that Penny must be Mrs Johnson's favourite student.

Well,  I'm in a few clubs in school, I'm in the Math club, Art Society and the Acting club. I have been in a few TV Commercials and I hope that I would get a callback after I audition for Broadway in the future.
Auditions are very tough and daunting, I just have to find at least a way to get through it so it's done and over with. I didn't really care if I never got the main parts, but there are other things in acting that are more important than the main parts of the play/movie. I have been dancing since I was 6 and now at age 14. I am currently dancing more often and doing pointe work for ballet.

Dancing is what I enjoy, I would never have a day where I wouldn't dance. I started at my dance school, Dance illusions in Kirrawee when I was almost in Year 1. I moved to Sylvania not so long ago and I still go to my dance school in Kirrawee. I stopped dancing when I was 11 in Year 5, due to surgeries that I had. I took two years off dance and started dance again when I was 12 and a 1/2 in Year 7 last year.

I had to start pointe later this year because last year all the girls were doing pointe and I couldn't do their dance classes due to coming back after my surgeries,so I got placed in the beginner teens ballet class. I would have been in the average class where the girls are doing pointe work.
The reason why I had my two surgeries was because.. one of them was on my left ankle because a bone was lodged in the muscle and I couldn't walk that much.

I remember coming home from my Contemporary dance class the friday night before the Christmas concert two years ago, Saying to my mum " I can't walk, the floors are too hard for me to walk on." That just made my parents worried, Dad rushed home from work and mum drove me to the hospital. Then one of the doctors said "she has a medical condition and would need to stay there for three days."
" Three days! That sounded like almost a year."

Then I thought about the dance concert that was tomorrow. " Oh no! The dance concert, I have been preparing for the dance all my life, and who is going to be my role, A spanish dance girl?" I panicked. " Sabrina San, You're not performing at the concert this year, but staying in the hospital is a good idea, but there's always next year." said Dad.

" I know, and that rhymes."
I said Glumly.
" Loki and Sigyn Odinson, you are free to go home now, you can Sabrina any time you would like."
Informed Sister Anabella who was the nurse.
" Bye Sabrina, we'll see you tomorrow, and for the dance concert tomorrow, Penny is going to be your understudy, I'm going to give your costume to her." Mum said.

I just wished that I could dance in the Christmas Concert this year and did my solo for the dance, now Penny is doing the solo and everyone will think Penny is better than me..
