When I woke up, I looked at my calendar and in the shining red pen the writing said " A Midsummer Night's dream Play 6:30pm on Friday November 16th" Oh my gosh, the play is tonight at 6:30! I'm so excited. I got ready for school super early at 6:50am. " Mum! I have to go to school, and the play is at 6:30!" I exclaimed.
" Sabrina Odinson, it's too early to go to school and I'm making breakfast right now." Mum said as she was pouring crepe batter into the pan. " But mum, I need to get to school for rehearsal and it takes 11 minutes to get to school." I said.

" I'm making crepes and who cares about your school play?, only Uncle Thor and Dad care about your play. And dad texted Thor to tell him to watch your school play tonight because I don't have to be there, I can just be on my own and watch TV."

Said Mum.

" Mum I already ate breakfast which was a yoghurt and granola cup and I'm already prepared for school. I have to get to rehearsals this morning at 8 and it's 7:05 am. We are going to be late."

I protested

" Um, Why is it the one that takes you to school? Can't dad or uncle Thor take you to school today?"

Asked mum in a bratty mood.

" But you always drive me to school and you promise."

I said

" Since you are constantly nagging me Sabrina Alyssa Odinson, here take your opal card and get the bus with Penny."
Mum said staring at me.
I rushed outside with my backpack and walked to the bus stop outside Penny's house.
" Hi Sabrina, Why isn't your mum driving you to school?"
Asked Penny
" Oh, today my mum is being like a grumpy lady and wants a day to herself. She loves to drive me to school every day and says it's a family tradition." I explain.
" Oh, That's not good Sabrina, but maybe your mum has her period." Penny replied.
" Period? No, I didn't see her bleeding." I said.
Then we get on the bus and have the rest of our conversation.

" How did Gymnastics competition go?" asked Penny as she was applying her lip gloss.
" I did excellent, I got 1st place and won a gold medal."
I said
" So sick girl! That's awesome, you're a true gymnast, and I can't believe I got an A on my PE Gymnastics performance and you only got a B which isn't too bad but you did better than me."
Said Penny

" I am a true gymnast, that's what my father and uncle Thor say to me. They're not joking, they see it in their own eyes. It doesn't make sense why Mrs Johnson gave you an A and I got a B, yes a B!"
I replied

" You got a B, well I got a C!"
Shouted Melanie

" I got a B too."
Said Theodora looking like she could have done better.

Then when we arrived at school, we all went into the rehearsal studio and Miss Long decided that we would do a warm up by doing some drama little act games. Then we all filed into the theatre ready for the final practise of the show. Playing the role of Hermia is the part I have dreamed of for a long time, Ashley was playing the role of a fairy, Riya was the role of Helena and Penny was Lysander, Hermia's true love. After all of the rehearsals that morning, we went to our usual classes.

When we were in the first class of our day which was Math, Mr Benett said that talking about the midsummer night's dream play was definitely not what he wanted to hear from students. During Lunch, we were going over some of the parts in the cafeteria and the Years 7 and 8 Acting club were practising the whole show.

Then after our other classes, It was time for our most favourite class of all time.. Acting! We all got into our groups and did one final Rehearsal of A Midsummer Night's dream.

Then after school, three hours before the play started, we went to go and get food. " Hey girls, want to come and get food before the show? We've got three hours until the play." asked Coraline. " No I'll be good, my mum is picking me up and says that her homemade dumplings are much better than other food." replied Audrey. " So who's coming?" asked Penny. " I am" replied Theodora " Count me in Penny." I replied, " I'm coming." said Ellery.
