Two weeks pass by and it's the night of the NovemberFest Rhythmic Gymnastics competition. When I walk into the arena, I see Coraline and Riya. " Hey girl." they say. " Hey girls, How do you like my outfit?" I ask
" That's so sick! I love it!" Riya squeals
" Who made it? It's awesome." Coraline asked. " My dad made it, it's high quality made." I explained. Coraline showed her costume. " I bought this from my local dance shop, is it pretty?" She asked. " We love it" Riya and I said together. Riya's costume had diamonds everywhere and it was garish. " This is so amazing." Coraline and I squealed. " Thanks, this took a long time to make so this is what i've got." said Riya.

" Alright girls, why don't we start with our warm up." Said Miss Petra. We did our usual warm up before class in the upstairs training area of the arena. Then we went over our routines. Miss Petra calls out the names and order of division our team will be put into.
" First up Riya Nasahapeen." She read out.. " And the final competitor Sabrina Odinson."

I was the last competitor in my division. Dad always says to me that the girl who is last to compete might be 1st place because they always the best until last. Ashley is in the 12-13 years category and she is competing first in her team. I saw her and her teammates walking by " Good Luck Ash!" I said " You too Sabrina." she replied.

An hour later, the Gymnastics Competition was about to start. I was feeling a little nervous and scared because Mum, Dad, Uncle Thor and Valkyrie were all there to watch my Rhythmic Gymnastics routine. The first parts of the competition were speeches being made by the competition organisers.

Then it was time for the competition to begin. I couldn't wait until I compete. The first division was the 8-9 years category, followed by the 10-11 years category. Then the 12-13 years category performances begun with Ashley's routine. Ashley did everything gracefully but she slipped when she twirled her ribbon and twirled during a walkover. But she pulled it off! All of my family and the crowd cheered for her after she finished her excellent routine. After Ashley came off the mat, she ran over to Uncle Thor and Dad who both hugged her after the performance.

After the 12-13 years finished their performances, It was time for the 14-15 years performances. Riya was up first. " Good luck" our team said together. Then after the other performances, it was my turn. " Good luck" our team said to me.

" Representing Kirrawee Rhythmic Gymnastics club our final competitor Sabrina Odinson."
Said the announcer

As I twirl my ribbon for the start of the routine, I carefully go through the steps, the music turns my pumping blood into swirling rivers of confidence and compassion. Each split leap was flawless and the walkovers were absolutely impressive and outstanding. After I finished my split leap and landed into splits, the crowd cheered like at the Olympic Games. I took a bow and twirled my ribbon and came off the mat. " You did excellent and flawless." Praised Dad. " I think you are going to win." Uncle Thor said to me.

Then later after the divisions competed, it was time for the podium and conclusions. The Gymnastics teachers carried the big podium to the mat and the shining medals were placed on the side table next to the podium. After the 8-9 years category's presentations were done, they announced Ashley's division. " In Third Place, Carolynn Evengelou, Second Place, Ashley Odinson and First Place Ari Kahn!" I could see the crowd cheering as the announcers handed the medals. Then it was time for my division's presentations. " Third place Riya Nasahapeen, Second place Soon Ku Jin, And First place... Sabrina Odinson!! The whole crowd went wild, " Yeah! Sabrina" Cheered Dad and Uncle Thor. I had never been so proud of myself for winning a gold medal. All of my teammates hugged me and cheered " S A B R I N A  O D I N S O N What does that spell? Sabrina Odinson!" After the other division's presentations, I ran to my family.

" We had never been so proud of you in our lives." Mum praised

" All those tears from practise training have turned into excellent glory of tonight! Hallelujah Praise The Lord Sabrina's won a gold medal!"

Uncle Thor exclaimed

Ashley ran to me and hugged me before she went off with her friend to have a sleepover at her house. Ashley took her bag from mum and went off. When mum drove back home I looked at my gold medal, victory won by a young member of the Odinson family. The school play a Midsummer night's dream is tomorrow night! I can't wait until the big night arrives.
