When we arrived at dance this afternoon, Coraline told Madam Roselle about her fundraising idea.
" That sounds excellent Coraline. We are going to be selling cakes and Coraline's great idea will help us raise money for the costumes. Whoever sells the most cakes by the end of next week, will win a prize of a new leotard and pointe shoes. When you get home, you will start coming up with a plan."
Announced Madam Roselle.

We did our usual rehearsals and polishing up the choreography for the dance. I was improving on the leg extension at the end part when Thor saves everyone in the dance. I couldn't believe that I was getting better and improving more on my extensions. I couldn't believe that today I got to use the hammer prop that I have been waiting for a long time. Using Thor's hammer prop, I got to be en pointe with a heavy hammer. This hammer is a replica so it's not the real hammer, I know this because I have played with my Uncle Thor's hammer lots of times in my life.

After Dance class, Penny, Audrey, Ellery and I went over to Coraline's house to get started on the important project. Coraline goes onto her MacBook Pro laptop and creates a new website called " Cakes by Coraline." She types in the description of the website and why she created this website. After Coraline finished writing, she took us to her kitchen and gave us her favourite cake recipe book of cakes we think should be sold for the fundraiser.

We set to work making the cakes we were going to sell tomorrow. Coraline and Penny were making a marble mud cake, while Audrey, Ellery and I were making a caramel mud cake. When the cakes were baking in the oven, Coraline started making the prices of each cake and publishing them. We also had some ideas to make this business successful so we can raise money for the costumes in time for the concert.

After we finished making the cakes, we packed them into a basket and walked around the block to see if anyone wanted to buy any. We stopped at a small green house.
Coraline sold the first cake to Ainsley's aunt who lived in there.
When I got back home, Captain Marvel opened the door for me and said. " Let's start rehearsing."

I agreed and put on my pointe shoes, then I made my way to the dance studio room. I practised the dance a few times and corrections were made.  I love it when Captain Marvel comes to my house and corrects my dance steps. When I make a mistake, she talks to me about why it happened, what I did wrong and how to cope with it. When Penny tells her mum about making a mistake, she says that Penny has to work with a psychologist.

" Aunty, can my friends Penny and Coraline come over after dance?"
I asked
" I don't see.. why not. I would love to help the girls and if they have any questions on the techniques, just ask me. When I was a young girl, I did ballet for a long time and when I got to age 18 I joined the American Ballet Theatre for three years. "
Replied Captain Marvel.

" I didn't know you were a dancer at the American Ballet Theatre."
I said
" It has been a long time since I left the company when I was 21 because I was working in Australia so I moved here. "
She explained.

Someone knocks on our door. I run to get the door. Coraline was standing there and asked..
" Would your mum like to buy a cake for our fundraising project?"
" I'll buy one."
I said as I handed her $12.00.
Then I went to the dinner table and started to do my homework assignment essay.

Tomorrow after school, I would go over to Coraline's house to sell more cakes for the project. This is a selling competition, whoever sells the most cakes win the leotard and pointe shoes!
