Time skip... Thursday afternoon, me and my family invited everyone over to our house for some food, drinks and desserts before we moved the next day. It was after my last day of school. All of my friends were signing my shirt with sharpie marker that made it a total mess, but it was fun to do since I was leaving the next day.
Then mum said that I was going to be sharing a speech.

" I would like to thank everyone who came here today. Thanks for supporting me for nearly all of my life. But now it's time for me to move on to a new journey and a new school."
I said.
Everyone Applauded.

After my speech, Penny, Coraline, Audrey, Frida and Theodora came to my room.
We put our photos that we took over the years in a special box from Uncle Thor as a memory box.
" What shall I put in this? "
I asked
" You can put your leaving card I made you."
Said Penny.
" And all of the happy memories."
All of my friends said together.

Then when we went downstairs, we were having a discussion about what my new school would look like and how it could be different to Australia.
" We're all going to miss you Sabrina."
My friends said together.
" Thanks, girls you have been such good friends to me all my life."
I replied.

Time skip... A Day later, We were putting all of our stuff in the boxes ready to send to a cargo plane. We were ready to leave this house. I am  going to be part of a new school community and will be moving to a smaller house than this. I just couldn't wait to get to Hong Kong, Mooncakes, Bubble Tea. What I'd dream of.
Then our uber pulled up outside our house and we put our suitcases in the van. Ashley took her phone and took one last photo of the house.

Our uber driver took a photo of our family standing outside our house in Sylvania. Then we piled into the van and we were off to the airport.
Ashley was writing a short poem in her notebook.. It's called Goodbye,

Goodbye House in Sylvania,
Good bye to my best friends in Australia
I will miss everything around here
I hope we can meet again sometime soon.

Poem by Ashley Odinson.
" Do you not get car sick?"
I asked
" No, I don't only on long road trips I do."
Ashley replied.

Half an hour later, we reached Sydney International Airport Terminal 1. We unloaded our luggage out of the van. The rest of the stuff was already at the airport being loaded onto a Cargo plane. Then, we went inside ready for check in. The biggest luggages went onto the conveyor belt and kept our carry ons.
The flight attendant asked
" You moving house?"
" Yes, we are moving house because I have a New job."
Replied Dad
" Have a nice flight and good luck with moving in."
She said.

After Check in, we went into security. Security was just normal like always, after security we got to buy some last minute items before we were moving to out new house. I bought a few packets of Tim Tams so we could enjoy it when we get to our new house. We had Sushi for lunch and not long after we got Sushi, we did some last minute runs for toilets, gift shopping before our flight to Hong Kong.

After our last minute runs, it was time to board our flight to Hong Kong. Once we settled into our seats, Ashley started writing another short poem. She's really good at poetry and story writing. We were sitting next to a lady who was visiting Hong Kong was going to perform a surgery. Then after the flight manager closed the final doors, The safety demonstration video played on the TV screens.

Ashley and I were the only ones paying attention to it. Everyone else was just reading their books or magazines.

Time skip... Two hours into the flight.. We were served lunch which was Chinese cuisine. My most favourite foods in the world. In Australia, we never got any great Chinese food than this.

Ashley kept writing poems and stories about us moving house in Hong Kong.

Time skip... 7 hours later.
We have arrived in Hong Kong. After we got off the plane, everyone made their way to baggage claim and customs. It was a very slow process and we were waiting until our family car was going to be handed to us. We went into the arrivals hall and we went to the taxi stand to find our family car.

" This is it, My new home I will be living in."
I thought.
Then after we packed our things in our new car, Dad drove to our new house.

When we got to our new house, it was an apartment building that looked very fancy and luxurious. There was even a breakfast buffet downstairs, gift shops and cafes. There was even a Dim sum Chinese restaurant that was absolutely luxurious like one of the travel shows on TV.
We took the elevator up to our place on the 6th floor. And here we are, a two bedroom apartment with a small kitchen, bathroom and a balcony. The bathroom was very grand and spacious.

Me and Ashley would be sharing a bedroom together in our new house. Back in Kirrawee and Sylvania, we had bigger houses. Ashley and I had bigger bedrooms and we had one each to ourselves. Well nothing bad is going to happen with two people in the same bedroom.

We started unpacking and getting used to our small apartment we would be living in for a long time. I decided to give Penny a call. When I looked at the Sydney time on the clock app on my phone it was 8:45pm. and now it was 6:45pm in Hong Kong. So I called Penny at 8:46.

" Sabrina, is that you? How's it going in Hong Kong?"
Asked Penny
" Hi Penny, yes it's me Sabrina. And I just arrived in Hong Kong hours ago."
I said
" How was the flight? And did you get there safely?"
Asked Penny
" it was okay, Ashley kept writing poems and I just decided to delete the photos I didn't want, Played online game of UNO and just decided to watch a bit of Frozen even though I've seen it 600 times."
I replied
" That's cool and my mum is in the kitchen making a late dinner. And my grandparents are over at my place for dinner so I have to go. Nice chatting to you."
Said Penny.
" Adiós Penny."
I said.

Then Mum came out of her bedroom and asked..
" Shall we go to the Dim sum restaurant for dinner? That should be our celebration for moving in."
We all agreed and went downstairs to the Dim sum restaurant as our first night dinner.
