The Darkest side

In rehearsals we were practising without breaks, We have been dancing for 8 hours straight. Can we at least get a break? But Teacher Xin says no because giving breaks teaches us to be lazy and foolish. It's so intensive, hardcore and even worse we were forced to lose weight. I can say this ballet school feels like Hell. No breaks, no dinner ( we have to earn it), no water and we are forced to lose weight while some people might just pass out from hunger which is a big problem for the ballet company and health industry.

Lihua was sick and she got suspended for up to three months. If someone is sick or injured, you will be suspended for three months like Lihua. If we don't lose weight, we will have two strikes and then might be expelled or demoted from our dancing careers. When a student in the academy is demoted or expelled from this prestigious ballet school, they can never join another dance school or ballet company and yes you know it, your dreams as a dancer have been crushed.

One of the students An Liang was demoted for not losing weight and she could never dance ballet ever again. I feel so terrible for those students. So that night when everyone was sleeping in their dorms, I took out my notebook and pen to plan some ideas on how to make this prestigious ballet school less hardcore, having breaks in between dance classes, give food and water every night without earning it.

So I wrote down a few more ideas to sum up my plan for the decision that should be made. With these strict ballet school rules and regulations of having no dinner, water, breaks and less time to sleep. It was concerning the health industry and statistics. The health industry says that
" Dancers are working very hard, at least give them breaks, have dinner, drinking lots of water and getting more hours of sleep."

I agreed with them, so I wanted to be a voice of reason, but I was too apprehensive to give my point and I might lose my dancing career. So I decided that I would just stay quiet and not even want to make my decision/point for this argument about this situation at the dance school. This ballet school is the National dance company and it's one of the top ballet schools in the country, because the dancers are trained to be principal dancers, artists and soloists. These dancers spend years and years training when they are young because it prepares them for commencing their serious training.

Rehearsals are so demanding and with no breaks allowed just feels like Hell. This whole dance school is prestigious but it's more like Hell because the strict rules and regulations are concerning the Health Industry. This at least has to stop because more people tend to pass out from hunger and it's even cruel how they have to lose weight without eating anything. I've been here for more than five days without food and I've only had the tiniest amount of water ever.

I decide that I don't want to be here at this dance school anymore, because if I speak up for the health industry's concerns about the ballet company's harsh rules, It might be the end of my dancing career. So I decided that I wanted to get a train from the rail to Hong Kong and run back to Kowloon to see my family. Or maybe I could find Captain Marvel and where she was staying for her business trip. I think this plan is going to work out great and I think that I will accomplish the mission and escape back home.
