Chapter 4

It's been weeks since she started her "appearance" tirades. She's all over the place and that was intentional. 

She's now meeting with her girls for the second time. She's been in contact with them the day they had their reunion.

"I hope Heeyeon-ah is with us. Why does she have to go on a vacation with Ken? Who would've thought that they'll date and take it way too seriously." 

Yong grumbles as she brings in the food for their gathering.

"You should date then. Maybe a good vacation with Kook-ah will make you relax, unnie."

Byul is back to teasing Yong again. On the other hand, she just lets it pass since she'd been quiet for years.

"It's such a sight not seeing you drink with us when there's an alcohol unnie. The strongest drinker has retired." 

Wheein says as if it is something that is unimaginable.

"It's different now. I have a child already. Maybe when Woojin has grown enough, I'll get back to my affair with alcohol again, but for now, juice is fine with me."

She says although it can be seen in her face that she wants to get drunk.

"When will you allow us to see your son? Come on Byulyi, we've been dying to meet him."

Yong has been bugging her about seeing Woojin the moment she came to see them.

"Look at this unnie. Aren't you happy that I am back? Be content with me. Besides, he should see his father first."

She counters with glint in her eyes.

"Kim Seok Jin is one lucky bastard." Yong comments bitterly.

"He is. My Woojin looks nothing like me." She fakes a sneer remembering how his son looks but she loves everything about him. Even the fact that he looks like his father.

"Aren't you reminded of oppa whenever you see him?" Hyejin airs her curiosity about the older woman's feelings towards her ex lover.

"I didn't forget him in the first place. Honestly, I have no time to be bitter about our past. He did me good. Real good seeing how we have a child together. It's not something too chaotic you know."

She reminisces a bit before concluding her revelation. 

"I cannot wait for a man to grow and be ready for me but I appreciate a great man when I see one. He had his issues and I had mine. What happened before was really the best thing for us and my life has been better since then." 

She states coolly, sounding composed more than ever.

"Glad to know you weren't negatively affected, unnie. You're awesome." Hyejin praises her.

"I smell a comeback for you two. Maybe baby number two?" Wheein teases.

"Comeback my ass. We have an empire to build for my prince. I'm just starting to execute my plans for the company. I expect Jin to do the same."

She says in a business tone.

"Maybe oppa's already going crazy about you appearing everywhere, and all of us had been with you even once. It's not hard to think that you're intentionally doing it." Hyejin mentions her recent acts.

"It is intentional and I know he's already thinking about it." 

She's clearly satisfied with how matters go according to her plans.
