CHAPTER 25

I promised to update this yesterday but I was too tired from the party.

Then adulting happened when I woke up. So here.

I'll read this chapter later while listening to Easy On Me.. 😭

Chapter 25

After the hectic weeks, they finally have the chance to be alone and make up on their lost time together. 

During the first day, they explored the yacht. Enjoying the view and taking their sweet time. Made love to different areas they thought were decent. 

They did a lot of crazy stuff and they were happy. Jin was over the moon seeing how Moonbyul treated her like how she used to. She'd been clingy and expressive, always saying things that made his heart flutter.

They are on the bed, their room has a window on the ceiling allowing them to see the stars above them.

"Jinnie"

She breaks their shared comfortable silence.

"Yes princess?"

She takes his arm, asking to be embraced, wanting to feel his gentleness before confessing.

"I want to try again."

Is she asking for another baby?

"What?"

This is not just to have his body but to let him know of his place in her heart which isn't taken away no matter what happened to them.

"We aren't official but we are already there. Let's build our family when we get back."

She hopes that everything goes well tomorrow.

"I love you Byul. I love you and our son. I'll promise this time I won't let go."

Why does it feel that she'll experience another heartbreak?

They just had their dinner. They are still lounging on the deck, with Jin hugging Byul from behind. The waves are calm, quiet, as if comforting those whose heart is in contrast.

"How do you think our life would be if we did not meet that way?"

Her question is puzzling but one they haven't thought or considered.

"What do you mean?"

He moves back a bit to allow her to stare at him.

''What if we met under normal circumstances?"

The wistful look on her face is making him worried.

"Hmm. Like how?"

Staring at a distance, she says,

"What if we're introduced by a friend or we met during a business meetup? Or what if we met at SNU?"

They really have an unusual story, atypical beginning. 

What life could be for them if they didn't have to be step siblings?

"It would really be different. Though I'm not sure if we'll be like this if that happened. One thing is for sure. You'd probably fall for me when you see me."

He's slowly returning to his confident and sassy self. Like how he used to. And it's getting nostalgic for her.

"Really? Even if you were so desperate to have me?"

Would they be attracted to each other? If they would develop feelings for each other, would they take action? Would they be able to hold each other like how they did before and like how they are doing it now?
