Chapter 17

They are staying in two big guest rooms. These rooms are structurally designed for sleep overs. The girls together with Woojin will be sleeping in a separate room while the boys will be in the other one. They had talked a bit before deciding to call it a day.

"Are you sure you can be on your own with Woojin for the night?"

Jin incessantly asks Byul making sure that they'll be fine on their own. Byul is just checking their things to see if they have it all packed before going to the other room. Woojin is being carried by his father.

"Jin, we've been doing this for a long time. I can handle it. The girls are also there. I'm sure they'll be willing to assist me if I need help. If you're that worried we can just sleep here. I think they won't mind."

He knows that the girls also want to bond with her and with their godchild. He shouldn't fret about it. So he should really learn how to take things easy.

"Just call or message me if you need something."

It's already 1:19 am and Jin is still wide awake. Almost two months of staying with them makes him feel uncomfortable sleeping without them by his side. He also can't help but think about what his friends said to him. 

He needs to be bold in showing how he feels for her. Maybe, if he's still the old Jin, he won't be having any problems when it comes to approaching her but sadly, he changed as well as Byul.

Is he intimidated by her? He's not but he needs clarity of what they are and what he can do with her.

While trying to get some sleep, he received a message from the woman who's keeping him awake.

Byul: Jin

Byul: I need your help.

He instantly gets up from the bed, careful not to wake anyone up. He suddenly feels anxious. He's worried that something bad happened to her or to their son. 

He's contemplating on waking the others up but he thought that if there is an emergency, the girls should be breaking their door to wake them up. Realizing that he should calm down, he carefully leaves the bed when he receives another message from her. 

Byul: Go to the farthest guest room. Now.

He doesn't want to think of anything aside from helping her with something.

Maybe she's moving things and they are quite heavy? 

In the middle of the night?
