CHAPTER 5

I'll be generous today because I still can't get over the concert earlier 😭
I won't update on the 31st since I'll finish my short story and I Give Up so here it goes. Brace yourselves. Kidding.

Chapter 5 

He's been working nonstop since he set his foot on the company. He's reviewing the contracts and the projects they had with MDCC for the past two years.

He has to make sure that nothing could go wrong that can be the reason for the termination of their partnership. He needs this connection the most now.

He hasn't heard anything from Byul. She hasn't contacted him yet. He's torn between initiating their meeting or to continuously wait for her next move.

He can demand meeting her given that they are solid business partners but using business as an excuse to see her will just put him in an embarrassing situation. 

On top of that, he doesn't know what to say to her. He memorized all the words that he'd been meaning to tell her but his mind went blank. He's so done. Just her photos already made him malfunction.

"Sir, sorry if I have to disturb you but you have a guest." His secretary has  notified him of this unexpected guest but he's lost to thoughts of a brown haired woman.

"I expect no one. Tell them to make an appointment." He goes back to his task.

"Sir, you instructed me to inform you immediately if they reach out to us." 

He looks at his secretary and he's puzzled why she's blushing. 

Someone from MDCC..

Her flustered secretary is still standing by the door.. 

Nah. Please not him..

"Let him in."

"Thank You, Ms. Jun."

Even his secretary is swooning over him. 

"I thought you'd reject my sudden visit." 

He doesn't like how he's relaxed around him.

"What is it?" 

He asks him, letting him know he has no time to waste.

"As our top business partner, you are invited to the MDCC party on Saturday. The details of the event are stated on the invitation."

He goes straight for his purpose.

"Thanks for personally sending the invitation. If you don't mind, I have other things to do."

He doesn't want to prolong this conversation.

"See you around, young Kim."

"It's confirmed sir. Miss Moon will be there." 

Ms. Im informed them later that day.

"All the top partners of MDCC are invited. They'll announce something big that day." - Mr. Kim

"I'll call you if something goes wrong." 

He'll take every opportunity he can get just to be one step closer to the Moons.

Later that night, he went on to check her twitter account. 

He tries his luck by sending her a message.
