"What about you? You listen to my music, I know you gotta feel some type of way seeing as you on the phone with me." He boasted and she shook her head again, losing track of how many times she's been done with his arrogance.

"Wrong. What makes you think I listen to your music?" She asked and he sucked in a sharp breath, pretending to be hurt.

"Damn, my fault. I guess you different then, Sidra." He mocked and she scoffed.

"You aren't the first celebrity I've investigated, or tried to, and you won't be the last." Sidra said, trying to shoot down his arrogance.

"Well, thank you for making me feel special, baby girl." He said sarcastically and she gave him a dry laugh.

"I feel like I'm gonna have to reschedule our date, because you already seeming like the type to deny all types of fun." He said into the phone, a smirk coming to his face. Her face crumpled up in confusion.

"So you're telling me that you went through all that trouble to get me on a date with you, only to turn me down right after because I don't seem fun to you?" She asked to verify, making sure she had all her facts straight.

"Yup." He answered and she shook her head. She feels as though she could be fun at times. She just gets caught up in her work too much that she doesn't give herself time to actually have fun and go out with her friends.

"Wouldn't the date tell you what you need to know? Or are you scared to go out with a special agent?"

"Last time I checked, you ain't wanna go out with me anyways, lil mama." He interjected and a small smile crept onto both of their faces.

A small moment of silence emerged before he cleared his throat softly.

"If you so fun and bold and shit, you should come over tonight so I can give you a taste of what our date would be like." Abel said deeply and her breathing hitched in her throat. Her eyes widened at his unexpected offer.

She became quiet again. He smirked at his effect on her, regretting the fact that he couldn't see her reaction.

"What? Don't have any smart comebacks?" He chuckled and she rolled her eyes. She muted the phone quickly and whisper-screamed "fuck" before swiftly unmuting it before he realized what happened.

She quickly looked at the time on her phone. "It's about to be ten, and I have work in the morning." She heard him scoff through the phone at her lame excuse. She didn't think this far. And up until now, she was only skilled in talking to him over the phone. How could she talk to him without compromising her true investigation?

"Now tell me how I knew you would say that." He said, egging her on. He was actually curious to see if she would come over this late, but he paid the curious thought no mind and relaxed as he waited for her response.

"Give me a break. I do have work in the morning." She huffed, pouting her lips.

"Come over and tell me that after your second drink." He said, not seeming to take 'no' for an answer. She rolled her eyes for the last time, already knowing where this was going. She was starting to get the feeling that he wasn't the type of person to say 'no' to. But his actions verified that he was used to getting his way. She observed that much.

She raised her brow at the possible investigation that she would be passing up on before sighing and giving in, even though she couldn't deny the curiosity of going to a famous celebrity's house in the middle of the night. Sidra wouldn't admit that to him, though.

"I'll be over in twenty-five. Don't get too excited." She said lowly before hanging up and finding actual clothes to put on.

A satisfied smile came to his face as she accepted his unintentional dare. His intrigue of her was starting to grow by the minute and it started to become as thrilling as the agent said. It was dangerous to have her around him while he was trying to undergo his plans. But he had to keep her close. That's what he thought was best.
