"So, um, did you enjoy the dessert I made?" Terrance asked with a hopeful smile on his lips.

Sidra looked up from her typing to smile back at his unexpected question. "Yes, I did, Terrance, thank you. It was delicious, and I might need you to bake it again for me," she insisted, not stopping herself from flirting during work hours.

"Don't worry, I'll be sure to surprise you whenever you decide to come over again." He said lowly and her eyes widened at his newfound confidence in their banter.

"Alright then, Gordon Ramsey, when next do you want me to come over?" She asked, a smirk growing on her face as she watched him get flustered behind his computer.

She wanted to fight against the promiscuous feeling of flirting shamelessly with her partner while at work, but the kiss they shared over the weekend had been replaying in her head as well.

He let out a nervous chuckle as he looked down at his keyboard before answering.

"You're welcome anytime. But would you be open to going out this time? I know a few good spots that I feel like you'd love," he suggested, and her face lit up again.

"Yeah, I'd be down for that too. But we're gonna have to fit in some off-the-clock hours for the case as well so we don't get too sidetracked," she made sure to add.

She was trying not to let her excitement get the best of her at the fact that she was now actively dating someone. Especially since it was a new territory for both of them.

He nodded in agreement as he looked up at her, trying his hardest to keep his composure.

"Um, I'm free whenever you are for working the case, and our date. Just let me know when." He said more openly, his eagerness becoming him.

Terrance watched as she bit down on her lip invitingly as she thought over what he had said. The kiss that they shared flashed in his head for a moment before refocusing on his partner before him.

"Well, alright then. I can't say I'm not curious to see where you're trying to take me." Sidra said, finally giving in and getting up from where she sat to walk over to his desk.

The young agent gave up on her workload seeing as she was about to take her lunch soon, and the thought of indulging in her partner for just a moment longer made her stomach turn in a good way.

She made herself comfortable on the edge of his desk as his eyes trailed up from her folded legs to the enticing smile that sat on her full lips.

"Um, well I'm, uh, friends with the owner of this restaurant I used to work at downtown. I could get us a reservation," he offered and Sidra's smile deepened.

"Oh, okay. That sounds fancy. I'd love to." She laughed softly. He licked his lips at his ability to keep her attention and get her to go on another date with him.

This boosted his confidence a little, but not nearly enough when he realized how close she sat on his desk. The same scent that she wore overwhelmed him because of their proximity and before it could trigger the memory of her petite body pressed against his, a knock abruptly broke their eye contact and flirtatious demeanors.

"Hey, how we doing in here?" Their chief asked tentatively as he entered to see Sidra making her way off Terrance's desk.

"Hey, chief. We're doing alright," the young girl answered, trying not to seem obvious as she created a little space between her and her partner.
