soooo y'all feelin the OOT music video?👀 that shit was so cute........I'm so excited for the next one and all I gotta say is it ain't a weeknd video if sum disturbing wasn't happening 😭
annnd, I made the pov of this story third person bc I wanted y'all to fully capture what's going on while anticipating what the two main characters think/feel themselves.
but lmk if y'all want more insight into the other secondary characters (Terrance (more specifically Terrance 👀), La Mar, the chief) pov's as well
I try not to go too in depth when I'm writing from the characters povs that aren't Sidra or Abel, but I can get real creative if you'd like 😏
lmk boos💋
................
Sidra and Terrance spent the rest of the week going through the reference memos he made that listed the date and time stamps of people their suspect's accomplice met with after the young agent's run-in with him at the party.
She was trying her hardest to solidify that whatever they were conspiring was connected to the heist without mentioning her overhearing Abel and La Mar, but it was becoming difficult.
In almost every instance where they came to a dead-end on their sources, she was compelled to add in the very important angle that she happened to hear while in her suspect's bed.
She still did her best to push the compromising, self-guilt away as she worked on the case with her unsuspecting partner. It was nearing the weekend and the two agents agreed on a quiet dinner at his apartment.
As much as she tried to steer away from the guilt she felt while working with him, she soon realized it became especially easy while working on the case. He never got as discouraged as she would which she began to admire and eventually gained motivation from. She also liked that he was always nervous around her. She thought it was cute.
With the young agent investing her energy into her partner, it gave her little time to worry about Abel distancing himself from her after he came to see her. He quickly became preoccupied with maintaining his and his brother's innocence while getting ready for his award show performance in a couple of weeks.
Somewhere underneath all his sexual demons and pent-up energy he's been giving to Sidra, he was almost glad he spent some time away from the young girl. She was messing with his head in more ways than one and it wasn't until he met with La Mar and his reps that he fully realized.
The couple days they spent not relying on the other's attention went by quicker than they expected and it wasn't long until Sidra found herself getting ready for, yet another outing.
The hours she spent with her partner at work only made her more comfortable around him and that resulted in her feeling a little less nervous about their date that Saturday.
They flirtatiously ended up agreeing on her coming a little earlier than the time that the food would be prepared so they could talk as he cooked for her, but they both just tried to hide the fact that they wanted to see each other just a little sooner.
With that in mind, she didn't bother to slip into another form-fitting dress like she had weekends before, but she still spent an unhealthy amount of time wondering how she wanted to look on their date that night.
