Abel managed to relax his strong urges after sobering up and leaving the young agent's apartment that night. He was also trying his hardest to downplay his relief once he finally extracted the tiny, but important, detail of the young woman being onto him in every sense of the word.

He knew she could be sneaky and he knew she could've had ulterior motives being his investigative agent. He was just sure his actions were enough to delude her initial intentions of putting him away for good.

He was also still very unaware of the sexual energy he ignited within Sidra that made her that much more attentive to his case.

The restrictions they put on themselves around each other only served to help the both of them come to a better understanding of who they were dealing with.

Even though the temperamental pop star was drunk in the young girl's presence, he intended to see just how assertive she was around him after meeting La Mar.

He wanted to make sure she didn't seem too nonchalant towards what had conspired between them, but he couldn't be sure.

The vulnerable, dazed look in her eyes whenever he stared her down always distracted him and refocused his intent to wanting to make her whimper and moan in his ear instead.

But the threats he gave her were more than enough to keep him leveled for the time he spent at her apartment. He's been working in the music industry for longer than she started her career at the bureau, so there was no way he was letting her get away with whatever she was conspiring on her own time.

Abel felt more than justified in her offended reaction to his 'warning'. Her calculated response just settled the small nerves he had for her possibly using La Mar against him.

He hated the fact that he couldn't fully control her with just the NDA, and he could tell she was doing everything in her power to go around it.

That was why he made sure to meet with La Mar and his reps to go over what could potentially get out about his brother's discreet role in the heist.

They needed to cover their bases before Sidra hyped herself up into thinking she could corner the powerful man. This was his opportunity to regroup and assess exactly how he could tighten his reigns on the young agent just a little more.

While he met up with La Mar that night to go over their new approach in private, Sidra did her best to pull herself together for the following day at work.

Terrance had disclosed that he found out something that could've helped their investigation even more, and Sidra dedicated her energy to just that.

She couldn't afford to lose her momentum anymore, especially after the unsettling words Abel left her with the night before.

His words made her even more eager to see exactly what her co-worker dug up. She entered her office the next day only to see Terrance already in front of his computer, typing away at his desk.

His focus on his work barred him from noticing when Sidra came into the room. It wasn't until she threw her still aching body into her chair that he noticed her presence.

"Good morning, Agent Jones. Did you enjoy your day off?" He asked attentively, completely disregarding his work as he caught her eyes.
