Our Little Mistake

I couldn't believe that I just kissed another guy. I started to panic in front of him, saying "I'm not gay, there's no way. I can't be gay. I've always liked women, not DUDES. Not to mention the fact that you've got a GIRLFRIEND. Sway is gonna kick me out if they find out about this."

Then he told me to calm down and that he wouldn't tell as long as I wouldn't either. He said "Like you said, it's our little secret. No one else has to know... and you know, I really enjoyed that kiss, we should do it more sometime." He looked up and down at me insinuating that he wanted more than just a kiss, but I refused. Kissing another man was already weird enough as it is, I wasn't willing to go full-homo.

"We gotta leave the bathroom at different times so they don't suspect anything", I told him. He left first, then I left a few minutes later. As soon as I walked out, Bryce was staring me down. When I sat down, he said "What took so long bro? You missed the appetizers." Then he whispered "Did you have bathroom trouble?" As embarrassing as it is, I told him yes. It was the perfect lie to cover up what I truly did.

The main dish arrived, and everyone was ready to dig in. Bryce ordered for me since I was in the bathroom while the waiter was here. I really didn't want to think about what I did, so I was making small talk with Bryce and Addison. I was asking them how they met and became a couple. They started telling me their story but I didn't really listen. As much as i wanted to distract myself, i couldn't stop thinking about it. I could see, on the other side of the table, charli and huddy holding hands and being flirty with one another. Are they really in love, or is he just lying to her? Why would he kiss me if he has a girlfriend? I feel so bad for charli, she doesn't deserve to be lied to. But if the secret never goes out, then I guess there's no issue. Charli and Huddy and can be happy together, and I can pretend nothing happened. It's a win-win.

Everyone finished eating, and we all went back to our houses. When we got home, Bryce gave me some laxatives. "Huh?" I said confused. "You told me you had bathroom issues, didn't you?" He responded. "Oh yeahhhh, thanks man", I said nervously. I almost blew my cover.

Everything was finally starting to go well, why did I have to screw it up? Now I have to keep this huge secret from everyone. And what kind of lies am I going to have to make in order to keep it that way?
