After days of waiting, I finally arrived at Los Angeles. I grabbed my luggage and left the airport. I was greeted by the leader of sway, Bryce Hall. He was the only sway member I was familiar with, because he was the one who invited me to live with them.
We took his car, and went on our way to sway. I tried to make conversation with him while we were in the car, so I could make a good first impression. He pretty much talked about himself the entire way, but I was used to it since my old soccer buddies did the same thing.
After a long drive, we finally made it to the sway house. The house was HUGE, you could practically fit an entire trampoline in there. Bryce showed me to my room so I could unpack. Then he told me "meet me in the living room in 15 minutes so you can meet everyone else." I was sort of nervous since I was the "new guy" and I didn't know anyone else, other than Bryce.
Eventually the time came and I made my way downstairs to meet everyone. Everyone introduced themselves, and they all seemed a little obnoxious, but nice. There are 5 other members in sway, other than Bryce and I, that I had to get used to. Josh, Griffin, Blake, Jaden, and Kio. Apparently, there have been other members but for whatever reason they left.
I couldn't believe that I was actually in L.A about to start a new life. How did tiktok clout end up giving me all these new opportunities? It only makes me more excited for what's to come. It might take me a while to get used to it here, but I'm willing to go through it.
