"It's you."

Noah was confused and taken back. He was confused on what that could've meant. He asked Chase curiously, "What do you mean?" Chase quickly covered his mouth out of regret. Then, he quickly said, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that. Its just that I had such a great time with you today. I was never into sports, but somehow you made it fun. Just hanging out with you made everything fun. And I haven't felt that way about someone in a long time. It just feels so... right being with you. Some people might say it's wrong, but it feels right. I guess what I'm trying to say is... I think I like you. I know that we don't know eachother well, but I'd like to. Do you feel the same way?"

Noah was speechless. He didn't know what else to say. He started to get goosebumps, and his heart was beating faster than ever. A thousand thoughts were swarming into his head. He took a deep breath, then softly said "I never felt this way about another guy, this is all kinda new to me. But... I think I feel the same way about you."  Chase began to smile helplessly. They looked at eachother longingly for a few seconds, gazing into eachother's eyes. The temptation for more was growing. Then they both slowly leaned into eachother. Their lips were so close. They couldn't resist any longer. They began to passionately kiss eachother. It felt like the world disappeared, and nothing else mattered. Once they stopped kissing, they smiled at eachother. Their faces were still very close.  Noah stared longingly into Chase's eyes, and said "I forgot how great of a kisser you are." Chase giggled, then replied, "I was hoping we would get to kiss again. Thank God it wasn't in a bathroom this time." Noah shook his head as he laughed happily.

    The sun had already set, and it was starting to get dark. Noah looked at the time in his phone and said, "It's getting late, we should get going." They got in the car, and Chase drove out of the parking lot into the road. Chase glimpsed at Noah and smirked. He didn't want this to be the last time they'd hang out. "Hey, since we did something that you like today, maybe we should do something I like next time," Chase said playfully as he smiled. Noah jokingly replied, "Okay then, what does Mr. 'Lil Huddy' like to do?" Chase responded, "I really like horror movies, maybe we can go to the theaters sometime. I hope you're not scared of them." Noah rolled his eyes, and sarcastically said "Yeah, I'm terrified of them. I might just have to hold your hand throughout the movie." Chase laughed a little, and replied, "I'm down with that."

   Then, all of a sudden, Chase's phone started to ring. It was charli. Chase started to panic. He quickly answered the phone, and nervously said "H-hey babe, what's up?" Charli responded, "Hey baby, I'm good. Where are you though? Dixie said you went back to get something at Sway. Are you alright?" Chase's palms started to sweat out of nervousness. He replied, "Oh yeah- I found what I was looking for. But then... I decided to go watch a hockey game with Josh and Jaden! I'm Sorry, I should've told you, I didn't mean to worry you." Then charli said, "It's okay, I just wanted to see if you were okay. I thought you were kidnapped for a second hahaha. Well I'm glad you had fun baby. I'll see you when you get back. I love you, bye." Chase unconfidently replied, "okay, I l-love you too..." Then Chase hung up the phone quickly. He was so distracted, that he literally forgot he had a girlfriend. And he began to feel extremely embarrassed, especially since Noah was right next to him and he knew the truth. His face turned red as he tried not to look at Noah. He kept his eyes focused on the road, trying not to break down.

   Noah's smile turned into a frown. He felt nothing but guilt. He looked at Chase, and saw that his face turned red out of embarrassment. There was nothing but unsettling silence for a few minutes. Just the sound of the car speeding.

     Noah looked at the road with despair in his eyes, and said in a monotone voice, "We can't do this behind her back. It's not right." Chase frowned, then replied "I know. I'm sorry. I'm going to deal with it eventually. Just give me some time. I just can't find the right time to tell her. I mean, we dated for several MONTHS, I can't just end it like it meant nothing." Then Noah looked at Chase and asked, "Do you love her?" Then, everything went silent. Chase sighed deeply, and weakly said "I thought I did. But I don't know anymore."

    Then they arrived. Chase parked a block away from Sway so no one would see them. Noah wanted to lighten up the mood, so it wouldn't end on a bad note. He held Chase's hand, and said "Hey, it's going to be alright. We'll figure it out in the end." Chase nodded and sadly smiled. Noah sadly smiled back and got out the car.

   He walked back to Sway, and the door was left unlocked, so he sneaked in. The lights were out, so Noah assumed everyone was already asleep. He tiptoed his way to his room. But, before he could get there, someone turned on a light. Noah jumped out of fear, and quickly turned around to see who it was. It was Bryce. He quietly laughed, and said "That was too funny, you should've seen your face! Anyways, how was the business thing?" Noah quickly replied, "Oh yeah, it went pretty well. I might meet up with them next week." Bryce gave Noah a fist bump, and said "Alright, Good for you, man! What's the business called?" Noah started to panic a little, and quickly looked around to see if he could come up with anything. He saw an empty water bottle in the floor. Then, he said "It's a water bottle company. They want me to advertise them on a tiktok." Bryce responded, "Oh, okay. Water is... nice. Well, I'm going to bed, peace out." Noah waved goodbye awkwardly as Bryce went up the stairs. Then Noah let out a sigh of relief, and went to his room. He got ready for bed, and laid on his mattress. After several days of denial, he realized he couldn't ignore his feelings anymore. He thought to himself, "Wow. I guess I do like him after all. So I guess that means that I do like guys... And I like a guy that's taken." He realized how intense the situation had become. Their "little secret" just became a bigger one.
