The Master Of Mega Evolution

A New Journey Begins

After checking out my huge, luxurious room, I explored the rest of the ship. There was a lounge area outside with a pool, a huge buffet with a variety of foods for people and pokemon alike, there was even a huge stadium for pokemon battles. I went and got changed into a bikini and went out to the lounge area. I got all my pokeballs and threw them in the air, releasing all my pokemon as I said, "Come on out and have some fun!" They all cheered as I sat in a lounge chair in the sun. I watched as my pokemon did their own things. Latios flew up into the sky, Lopunny sat in a chair beside me, Sceptile sat with his feet in the pool, Tyranitar stayed far from the pool and laid in the sun, Mawile laid peacefully in the shade of an umbrella, and overprotective Houndoom refused to leave my side and laid beside my chair.

After laying in the sun a bit, I heard footsteps approach as Houndoom started growling. I opened my eyes and sat up to see the girl with the keystone hair ribbon. Seeing her up close, she was a bit younger than me with blond hair and a pink, one piece bathing suit. She smiled, "Hi! I thought I'd find you here! My name's Claire, and I couldn't help but notice all your pokemon have mega stones. Are you by any chance the Mega Evolution Master?" I stood up and pointed to my choker, "That's me. I'm Alyssia." "Would you mind battling me and my partner?" She threw out a pokeball and an Audino appeared and stood beside her. Like her, it had a pink ribbon on it's head with it's mega stone. I grinned, "Sure." I signalled all of my pokemon to come here. They lined up as I said, "I'll be nice and let you pick your opponent." She looked at all of my pokemon, then pointed to Lopunny. "I pick Lopunny. Lopunny are cute, almost as cute as Audino." I couldn't help but roll my eyes as I followed her.

She led me to the stadium where my pokemon sat on the sidelines to watch. There were actually quite a few people in the stands, probably everyone on the ship. I guess they heard about a mega evolution battle and couldn't miss it. I took my place with Lopunny in front of me, Claire and Audino did the same. Claire touched her keystone, causing it and the Audinite to glow. Audino became Mega Audino. I smirked and touched my keystone choker, causing it and Lopunny's Lopunnite to glow as Lopunny mega evolved. Lopunny's new appearance must've shocked Claire, she gasped, "Wow, Lopunny went from cute to feisty!" "I'll show you how feisty, Dizzy Punch!" Lopunny rushed forward as Claire yelled, "Dodge it!" Audino barely managed to dodge it. "Keep using Dizzy Punch!" Lopunny continued punching as Audino did it's best to dodge. Lopunny finally landed a hit, causing Audino to stumble back. "Wow! Lopunny's really fast! We'll just have to slow it down. Audino, Disarming Voice!" Audino let out a loud screech, causing Lopunny to hold it's ears. "Follow up with Take Down!" Audino stopped and rushed toward Lopunny. "Lopunny, you know what to do!" Lopunny gracefully jumped over Audino, then grabbed it, laying down and lifting it onto her feet as she used her feet like a spring and sent Audino into the air. "Finish it with Jump Kick!" Lopunny quickly got up on her feet and jumped into the air. With Audino disoriented, she kicked it flying back down to the ground. Claire yelled, "Audino!" And rushed over to the fainted Audino who changed back to normal.

I went over to Lopunny, who also changed back to normal, and gave her a hug, "Great job, Lopunny!" Claire returned her Audino as she made her way over to me. She gave me a smile, "That was amazing, thanks for battling with me." "It was my pleasure." She quickly bowed and left to get Audino healed up. I hadn't even realized the people clapping for us, as I left with my pokemon following. I went back to the pool and got in, cooling off after getting worked up in that battle. I had fun relaxing, but I was ready for adventure and I know my team felt the same way. Luckily the next few days flew by as we finally neared our destination. I was dressed like normal with all my pokemon in their pokeballs. I looked out to see Hoenn in the distance. I stared in awe as we got closer and closer. As we stopped at the port, I noticed lot's of people gathered around, watching. I didn't know why they were there, that is, until I got off the ship. I could hear people mumbling things like, "I heard something about a Mega Evolution Master onboard this ship." "I'm not sure what that is, but it sounds really cool." I don't see this 'Master' anywhere." I smirked as I walked past the crowds, finally seeing the name of this place on a sign. "Slateport City." I mumbled to myself. Now, if I remember correctly, I'm looking for a place called Granite Cave.

I headed through Slateport to a pokemon center and went inside, resting my pokemon and checking a wall map while grabbing a quick snack. Nurse Joy then came over saying, "Your pokemon are all healed up, is there anything else you need?" I took my pokeballs and asked, "Do you now where Granite Cave is?" She nodded and pointed on the map, "Granite Cave is down here near Dewford Town. Do you have a way of getting across the water?" I nodded, "Yeah, I do. Thanks Nurse Joy." She nodded as I left the pokemon center and headed out toward the beach, ready to see these ancient pokemon on the walls of a mysterious cave.
