"And that about finishes the tour of U.A." Principal Nezu said to his guest who trailed behind him with a disinterested mood the whole way through. "What do you think?"
"Thanks for the tour but I don't understand the entire point of you calling me here." They said. "I've got better things to do than to visit a place like this."
"Yo dude, check it out." A male student said to his friend from a ways behind. "It's actually her!"
"Dude she's so hot, walking around with all her ass hanging out."
Ear twitching at the vulgar comment the woman turned with a fury and yelled down the hall. "I CAN HEAR YOU YA KNOW!!"
"Do not worry about them." Principal Nezu remarked. "I'll simply look over the cameras and issue a proper punishment for speaking rudely about an esteemed guest such as yourself. But for now, let's go to my office so we can discuss the real purpose of your visitation."
'Or we could've just done this shit from the very get go, but whatever.' Principal Nezu turned right down a corner that immediately led them to the outside of his office. He turned the golden knob, held the door open for the woman who stepped inside and followed swiftly after her. With a twist of the lock to conserve privacy he began to speed walk over to his desk.
"May I interest you in some coffee or tea while we are here?"
"No, don't worry about it." The woman said as she leaned her weight onto one hip and crossed her arms. "Just want to know why I'm here already."
"Well you see, we at U.A wholeheartedly believe that our students should have the freedom of choosing who they would like to study under for their internships, since it is a major first step for those in their first year here." Principal Nezu rounded the edge of his desk, climbed onto his chair and then onto the surface. "However despite not having submitted any requests yourself, I do think that one student in particular may be of your interest."
"Let me stop you right there and in every polite method possible give my answer to you, hell no."
"Any reason why?"
"I don't do teams, they're crutches. Why would I bother signing myself up for failure if my own teammates won't be able to handle the work? I ain't going down with the ship just cause somebody forgot to hammer a single nail on a crooked plank. I'll go down whenever I feel like going down. Not with a bunch of weaklings."
"Ah yes, that has always been your motto hasn't it? A strong hero with an even stronger sense of independence, a loner in their own ways. But don't forget that this student should you chose them isn't a teammate nor a crutch to you. They are your student. One that will learn and adapt to your teaching method."
"I wasn't born in this place to teach I was born to kick ass and show the others how to get it done." The woman huffed. "Not some old lady who teaches a class of air headed kids. Do I look like Midnight to you?"
"Perhaps, though to me it just sounds like an entirely different reason."
"And what is that?"
"You're terribly scared."
*WOOOSH*
"Do I look scared to you, you weird animal looking hybrid thing?" They asked, up close and personal with the principal himself after zooming over to his desk faster than anybody could blink.
"Yes. That's exactly what you look like." Principal Nezu replied with a happy smile on his face and a fearless blink. "You're scared that somebody of your caliber will be unable to teach properly, and the only thing you're good for is to beat up the bad guys. I understand. Having the future of somebody else in your hands is a very frightening aspect and a heavy load of responsibility. Which is why, albeit an 'old lady', Midnight is very respectable."
