He was in front of me in a flash as he helped me inside his room.

"I see. My love is feeling better. Are you now willing to talk to me without acting belligerent?" He asked as we both sat down on the couch.

'What the-? What the hell is belligerent? And when was I belligerent?'

I decided to keep quiet and not answer his question. I was afraid I'd answer it wrong so I'd rather shut up.

"I see." He said quietly. But he quickly flashed a tender smile and added, "My love must still be in a horrible mood. Perhaps you should rest a bit more?"

'He keeps calling me 'my love'. Maybe we know each other and I just forgot.'

'Ah, whatever! Let's just try this one.'

"You must excuse my terrible memory, for I seem to have forgotten your name." I said unsurely.

'I should audition for an 18th-century movie after this!'

He gave me a puzzled look, "My name?"

'What? So we're strangers after all?--- Dummy! Of course, we are.'

He swiftly changed his expression to a playful smile, "You can address me as 'dearest' or 'my love'."

I gave him a straight face to indicate I was being serious so he quickly cleared his throat.

"But if you'd rather not, I suppose you could call me the Duke. After all, I am more recognized by my title than my name."

'I could already tell that he's a flirt! Even if he is handsome and rich, he must be at least ten years older than me!'

I got uncomfortable so I said, "It is nice to be finally acquainted with you. If you'll excuse me."

He wasn't able to appeal anymore when I quickly stood up and headed for the door.

"I'm looking forward to your next visit, my love."  I heard him say as I take my leave.

As I was walking away from his room, I grabbed my pocket watch and checked the time, 12:45.

My eyes widened in surprise. 'This, I'll never get used to!'

I decided to go back to the brat's room. As soon as I entered he said, "Alexandria if you want some of my desserts, you'll have to pay me with your time. Or ask that servant of yours."

"Stingy. I don't want any. Or else you might not get any taller if I take your food." I teased him as I sat on my usual spot.

"I was wondering, you said all the inhabitants of this mansion are men. That man I just visited keeps calling me my love. You don't think he'll creep into my room at night, do you?" I asked him curiously.

'Even if this is just my dream, I don't plan on losing ANYTHING.'

"Don't worry, he wouldn't be able to do anything unless you permit him. And that applies to all of them. This is still your reverie and they're just your subjects." He clarified.

I just nodded, "If you say so."

I stood up again and prepared to leave, "Are there something else I need to know?"

"Why take away the fun by telling you everything? Figure it out for yourself, Alexandria." He mocked me.

'I swear this brat is starting to really get in my nerves!'
