Alexandria Lennon
I thought about heading to the attic as I woke up but I remembered that White was no longer there.
So instead, I went to the living room to see Joker.
Joker greeted me happily as soon as I entered the room, "Oh, hi!"
He was livelier than ever and I'm glad that he is. Gloomy wasn't a good look for him.
"You're in a good mood," I commented.
Joker nodded and smiled from ear to ear, "Yes, I am! In fact ever since you agreed to plant some roses with me, I have been so happy that I feel like I am going to fly in the sky. It means that you are finally giving this place a chance!"
He smiled and continued talking. "I also have a surprise planned for you! Prepare to be stunned!"
"It's not gonna be another house tour is it?" I asked jokingly.
Joker smiled in embarrassment then shook his head, "No! I promise it's gonna be much interesting than that!"
"Then I'm looking forward to it,"
"I promise that it will be like nothing you've ever experienced." He said excitedly and stood beside me.
Joker linked our arms then asked me, "Are you ready?"
"It's not something dangerous, is it?" I worriedly asked.
"No. As long as you hold my hand no harm should come to you."
'WHAT?!'
I tightly held Joker's arm because of nervousness. I took a deep breath and said, "Ok, I'm ready."
"Just hold my hand. And no matter what, don't let go." Joker warned me again.
'IS IT THAT DANGEROUS?!'
My voice was panic-stricken when I spoke, "This sounds dangerous!"
"It won't be if you trust me." He reassured me.
"Now close your eyes for a second..." He ordered. I gave him a skeptical look but did as he said.
A cold smoke-like feeling covered my whole body and I could feel that we weren't in the mansion anymore!
And I can't feel the floors either! I opened my eyes and...
I was not prepared for what was before me-No, it was more like what was below me!
We were floating in the sky with a thousand misty stars spiraling like roses floating carelessly with us!
I looked down and saw we were thousands of feet above the ground!
I got scared so I asked Joker, "WHERE ARE WE?!"
"Isn't it obvious? We're in the sky!" He asked with a smile on his face.
"But that's not possible!" I couldn't believe it! I couldn't believe my eyes.
It's just so impossible!
"And why is the sky purple?" I asked incredulously.
Joker chuckled and answered, "Who cares about physics? We are flying Alexandria! How many times can you genuinely say that you are waltzing across the night sky?"
His excitement quickly diminished the fear that I felt and I was laughing with him as we run through the clouds
"Let's go have a tea party with the stars and then sing to the moon!" He happily said.
I nodded in agreement. I touched the clouds with the tip of my fingers as we continued gliding through the sky.
"You are quite the romantic aren't you?" I teased as we just keep on floating.
He chuckled and said, "You are one too you know?"
"No, I'm not." I denied.
But he just insisted and said, "But you are. Every owner of a reverie is a romantic, for their long is strong enough to create a world that gave birth to their broken fantasies and shattered desires. Their most treasured antiques and delicate memories."
"You're not making any sense again."
He just chuckled and asked, "I'm not? Then I'm gonna stop talking."
"Let's go touch the moon!" Joker shouted happily.
I laughed and we soared upwards to reach for the moon!
We spent the entire night holding hands.
We played in the clouds and waltzed among the stars!
Despite the chill of the night on my face, I enjoyed every moment with Joker.
I let myself get lost in this dream of fake happiness and illusion.
I played and laughed.
And Joker, too, was smiling the whole time we spent together and acting without a care in the world.
But for some reason, I feel like he is even more lost than me.
