Miss Aizawa

Sorry for being a brat.

Thank you for saving me, even when you didn't know a thing about me.

Please get back soon so that I can thank you in person.

- Kouta

That's what the letter that was placed neatly on her desk in her new dorm room said. The boy had fulfilled his promise and had thanked her when the Pussy Cats had visited them at the dorms the same evening so they could also welcome her comeback.

It became a party till late in night and so talking to Todoroki privately hadn't been possible. It had to be postponed till a few days later because her classmates refused to give her space saying they had to make up for the lost time and that they missed her which she couldn't get possibly annoyed at.

"Come in!"

She called out when someone knocked at her door and as expected Todoroki poked his head inside. A wave from her made him walk inside and she patted down the seat besides her on her bed for him to take.

"How are you doing?"

She smiled when he wanted to verify her wellbeing first before going further into questioning what she wanted to talk about. After talking formalities they quickly cut to the point of his visit.

"You questioned whether 'he' had hurt me. I think I know who you meant but I still want to verify-"

"Touya."

Her sentence got stuck in her throat and she almost choked on it when hearing the name leave the boy next to her.

"What?"

"Dabi is Touya isn't he?"

Eventhough he asked her a question, his eyes showed that he already knew the answer. It made no sense to her as to how he had figured that out, but she guessed that was how it had been meant to be in this universe.

"Yeah, how'd you know?"

Todoroki left out a beep breath as if he still had hoped he had been wrong about it. He'd had a month to think about it and he had been sure of it but it still was hard to accept.

"I don't remember much of Touya as I was far too young but I'll never forget his eyes. The eyes that carried so much hatred towards me when he tried attacking me in order to show father that he was stronger than I was."

She figured he had come to realize that when coming face to face with Dabi at the training camp when the League kidnapped Bakugou and her. Though she was surprised to hear that from the one who thought Midoriya and now she was All Might's secret love child.

"He doesn't think like that anymore, I asked him. He's the one that helped me escape and he even asked me to say hi to you."

Todoroki was conflicted to hear his Villainous brother had helped her and wasn't as bad as he thought he was. His look ushered her to continue.

"Except for All For One, the League may consist of criminals but they're not that bad ya know. While I was there, I was part of their family just like I had been here. Most were brought in by the teachings of Stain. He believes that those who become Heroes for fame, recognition or money are unworthy of being called the name and only All Might is a true hero."

"And you. He saved you from that Nomu during the Hosu incident remember? This could explain why certain members of the League were so accepting of you."

Her jaw fell open slightly at how obvious this fact had been but she had never thought of it before. She agreed with Stain's philosophy and he had deemed her worthy too which gave Dabi, Toga, Spinner and other Stain followers plenty of reason to trust her.

"You made an important point there..."

"Is that why Touya trusted you?"

She had to think for a bit now that Todoroki had brought the Stain thing to her attention but she eventually shook her head. Dabi wasn't the psychopath and sociopath from the manga here.

"He trusted me because I gave him reasons to. You can say we gradually became friends just like you and I. He turned out the way he did because Endeavor though he isn't blinded by meaningless revenge but he wished to actually achieve something with it. Change the corrupt Hero Society."

Todoroki was silent for a while, taking it all in slowly and calmy and she gave him the time he needed.

So much was happening which weighted a lot on her too, the plot she knew barely existed anymore. It wasn't her fault as her teleportation had been All For One's doing but she still worried. Scared that she might've done the wrong things while trying to 'fix' stuff and 'save' people.

Was she being egocentric? Superiority complex maybe? Main character syndrome? She worried that she might have become too narcissistic. But then again she wished she was all those things so she could achieve her ideals. Instead she kept doubting everything she did. Feeling unworthy. Too perfect but not good enough.

"Change the corrupt Hero Society? All my life I've been trained to become a Hero to serve said Society. It wouldn't be very heroic to say that I want to change it too would it?"

"What do you mean?"

Her question was left unanswered because her phone went off and a notification of the news popped up. Live: Endeavor and Hawks fighting Villain. Both teens ran downstairs to follow it on the big screen of the common area.

"Todoroki, so you were already watching."

Aizawa noted when he entered the common room, planning on informing his student of what was happening.

Everyone was to immerged into the fight, worrying over the Heroes fighting on the screen, to notice that the son of said Hero looked the least worried. Except for her who intentionally kept an eye out for his reaction.

To others it looked like he had an immense trust in his fathers power and that he would certainly claim victory. Yet that wasn't the case. Instead, he was analyzing the fight and confirming his feelings. He couldn't care less.

"He's up! Standing tall for his victory-nay standing tall for his beginning! Endeavor!"

The viewers didn't get to relax yet as Dabi got shown on the screen before sea of blue flames covered everything. Thanks to Miruko, the battle was cut short and the Villain turned out to be another one of Twice's copies.

"Endeavor and Hawks! They protected us to the last! They risked their very lives! And they won! Here stands the new top Hero! I want nothing more but to tell him: Thank you!"

The reporter cheered along with everyone who watched. The dorm was filled with happy sounds and when the class turned to Todoroki they saw him hug the girl besides him who was comforting him and they figured it was out of relief. No one heard what he whispered in her ear though.

"I want to join."
