"Game over."
Shinsou spoke through the intercom, causing all the Heroes that wore the headpiece to halt in confusion.
Aizawa, Present Mic, Kirishima, Kaminari, Mina and Sero stood behind him, supporting.
This was it, the moment they had all fought for had arrived. All the double-crossing, the planning, the training. It was all for this moment.
"To all the Heroes listening, this is The Paranormal Liberation Front, I order you to surrender."
Thanks to the Villain's powers, the whole state could watch along to the fight that was being broadcasted on every possible screen.
People stared in shock as they saw their precious Heroes get surrounded by the enemy but instead of fighting they did nothing. No movement of resistance was shown except for the dropping of weapons or callbacks on Quirks.
"Dear people of Japan."
A voice spoke before the screens split into two and a familiar face became visible besides the displayed battlefield.
All eyes and ears focussed on the girl in a black suit that had appeared in front of them. Dominant and confident, no one would ever suspect that her bravery was all an act. No one knew how fearful she actually was.
"I am Amazon, leader of The Paranormal Liberation Front. I am here to reveal the truth about your beloved Heroes. Recently Dabi revealed the true identity of former Pro-Hero Endervor. May he rest in Hell. Today I will expose the truth about the whole Pro-Hero society. You don't have to believe me, listen to the Heroes instead. The smoke you can see appearing on the battlefield contains a truth serum, meaning that for once, the Heroes will speak of the truth and the truth only."
Volumes of phones and TVs got raised, chairs got pulled closer and the momentary silence was suffocating.
No one had ever doubted the Heroes before. Though lately, people gained new information that broke their ideal vision of their Heroes, day by day.
"Wow, (Y/N) sounds so cool!"
Mina chimes proudly of her best friend being on screen.
"Yeah she's a total badass!"
Kaminari crossed his arms and smirked smugly. Sero besides him agreed to the statement.
"So manly!"
Kirishima made a fist and got tears in his eyes which Mina wiped away with a smile, knowing the redhead had been the most worried about her and Bakugou.
Aizawa and Present Mic looked over at the kids when they spoke, glad they could help protect them. As teachers they were proud to have students like them.
Meanwhile Shinsou got ready and followed the plan as agreed on. The smoke didn't really contain a truth serum, but Shinsou was the one controlling them, though no one besides the group would ever know that.
"Heroes, why do you do what you do? Why did you decide on becoming Heroes? To help people? To hinder evil-doers? To protect society?"
Everyone held their breath when she asked them the question. People started protesting amongst eachother that it was obvious that the things that she was saying were the main reasons to be a Hero.
"For money and fame."
No other sound was heard after the Heroes collectively answered. There was a moment of utmost silence before dots got connected and people started booing. Heroes' merchendise got thrown towards screens and posters got ripped.
"How dissapointing. But not really surprising."
A video replaced the broadcast of the battle scene, showing Heroes focussing on fanservice and merchendise. Even recordings of students their classes on those subjects.
They got shown how students got taught how to behave in order to become popular, how to give proper interviews that would do their image good, how to pose for merchendise, how to speak to the public after rescueing them and much more.
"This barely scratches the surface of how corrust this Hero society has become. If only all Heroes were as selfless and true as All Might. He truly gave his life to protect us from evil. May he rest in Peace."
People were flabergasted, their hearts getting crushed by dissapointment and betrayal at the sight of their idols being not who they thought they were. The Villains provided of so much proof that only a fool would dare to go against it. No one had ever though that Villains would become more trustworthy than Heroes.
"Dear people, by definition I may be a Villain but trust in me when I say that I mean no harm to you. My only wishh is to clean this world from its faux Heroes. Just like Stain had always wanted."
She looked in the camera, eyes genuine and voice gentle but authoritive.
Aizawa stared back and he felt like he was looking at her in real life. He saw the kid that he first met in the hospital. The girl he helped and trained with. The daughter he adopted and lived with.
He had watched her grow into the person she had become today, and he couldn't have been a prouder father.
Aizawa's eyes moved to look at Shinsou who was also concentrated on the screen. His son.
He looked at his students standing besides him. They had won him over and found a special place in his heart. They had all become his kids.
"If that is also what you wish for, please join us, the Paranormal Liberation Front, into making our world a better and safer place again. I promise that I will deliver the truth and the truth only. You all have my word. People of Japan! Are you with us?"
The crowd swarm together, cheering loudly, all agreeing with the Anti-Hero shown on screen.
"I am humbled by your reaction, as promised we shall deliver what you deserve."
The battlefield got shown again and all could see how police joined the scene and arrested all the Pro-Heroes. The same thing happened with the remaining Heroes through town.
"We have entrusted the police to objectivly jugde the Heroes and correctly charge them. From now on it'll be the National Japanese Police Department and the Paranormal Liberation Front that will ensure your safety. anyone who causes danger will be punished accordingly."
Cheers and celebrations errupted from the crowd again.
The girl on the screens said one last thing before the broadcast and along with it the reign of the Heroes ended.
"All Hail, Stain."
