Chapter 45

(Continuation Flashback)

"(Y/N)!"

Todoroki called out her and walked up to where Hawks had landed. He wrapped his arms around her as soon as he could and relaxed once he felt the girls arms around him too.

"Thank you."

The words left his lips in a soft whisper, and she knew what he was referring to when she saw Dabi emerge from the shadows meaning the two brothers had already met and talked.

It must've been a lot to take in for Todoroki but at least he had partly figured it out by himself beforehand so it wasn't that big of a shock anymore.

They were on school break at the moment which worked out perfectly for her and Todoroki to get together with the League and reunite the brothers.

Todoroki told her he had arrived a few hours earlier and had been talking to Dabi ever since. Misunderstandings got cleared up, truths got revealed, motivations got larger and bonds got restored.

"You could've warned me about her y'know, I had a hard time convincing her I was on her side."

Hawks crossed his arms while eyeing Dabi who knowingly wore a smirk and had his hands in his pockets while looking over at her and his brother.

"You're so similar to each other so I figured you'd have it easy to get through to her."

Dabi spoke and he was thankful Shouto had such a good friend by his side when he couldn't be there himself.

"It was hard exactly because we're so similar you idiot."

"Who you calling an idiot, Bird Brain?"

The two childhood friends bickered and now it were the two classmates who were looking over at the couple.

The way Dabi and Hawks interacted was so much different from the manga that she knew, they reminded her more of the fanon stories instead. There was no mistaken that they were best friends and trusted each other with their lives.

Her doubts about Hawks disappeared fully when she crossed eyes with Dabi and she saw their turquoise color shine with comfort, eyes she'd only seen when they had been alone.

"So (Y/N), what's the plan?"

Todoroki woke her up from her thoughts when he touched her shoulder in order to get her attention. She'd zoned out so much she hadn't realized the two older guys had walked up to them and were also waiting for her explanation.

"Right. Dabi, bring me up to date."

Dabi had his hands in his pockets, Hawks next to him had also switched to serious mode instead of the relaxed one he was in before when he was playing around with his friend.

"The Meta Liberation Army do not know of Hawks', Shouto's or your participation to the League yet. Giran is still safe but the Army is on the move. Tomura is fighting Gigantomachia, the others are just watching him do so."

"How long has it been since Gigantomachia's first appearance?"

"A week."

"I see, that means Giran's kidnapping and the Army's attack is supposed to happen almost two months from now."

The guys took in the information she provided, both were already told what the Meta Liberation Army was by Dabi who the girl had send out to collect information on them before she had returned to U.A..

"But what about Gigantomachia?"

Todoroki asked, reminding the group of the problem at hand.
