(Continuation Flashback)
"I can't, Bakugou, I'm sorry."
Bakugou stood stunned when she looked to the side. His heartstrings felt like they all snapped at the same time and he could die right there and then.
She looked him in the eyes again and he could see the determination in them which got him confused. Was she that certain of dumping him?
"I can't lie, not to you. I need to tell you the truth first."
He couldn't speak. His mind was a mess, raging with thoughts of all the possible things she could say at the moment.
"I did not escape from the League. I sided with them and am spying on U.A. instead. I know a certain future and I must do whatever I can to keep it from happening, and I can't do that as a Hero. I understand if you want to turn me in, I just can't continue this with you without you knowing the truth about me. I'm sorry."
He thought she had betrayed him. He thought everything was a lie.
But looking into her eyes now, seeing how she was anxiously waiting for his answer now that she had relieved her heaviest burden to him. He realized it had never been a lie, she had always told him the truth, just like she was doing right now.
"I overheard you talk to Todoroki before."
Her eyes widened before they lowered down in a frown, telling him she wanted to tell him herself instead of him finding out like that.
"I ran into Aizawa and I wanted to tell him."
He watched her shoulders drop and her chest rising with the deep breath she took.
"I felt so betrayed."
He saw her head nod and fall down. She was hiding her emotions so she wouldn't burden him but it was no use as Bakugou could read her like an open book. He knew that she was regretting not telling him earlier, she hated that she had made him feel that way.
"Yet, I couldn't."
She looked back at him, confusion clear in her eyes when the boy stepped closed to her again and took a hold of her hands.
"I couldn't tell him and risk loosing you again. I'd rather be betrayed than betray you."
He watched her eyes become glossy as she stared at him. He just wanted this dread to be over and go back to the way they were, pressed against each other, as close as they could physically get.
"Bakugou,-"
"I want to join you."
Her eyes widened when he cut her off, staring at him in surprise. But then she realized how Bakugou had witnessed the Pro-Heroes do nothing to rescue the student who'd failed to be saved. She could also see the immense trust in his crimson eyes.
His choice was so obvious that asking for his reasoning or if he was sure would be stupid, so she just nodded.
"I want to be the one standing besides you through your battle. I want to be next to you at all times. I want to be your partner. So let me join you and tell me what the next step of your plan is."
His heartstrings were stronger than ever, knowing that the girl confessed to him was enough for his trust in her to double. His growing doubts in the Hero-society only made his decision easier.
She nodded, feeling his overwhelming feelings hit her only through the look in his eyes.
"I have to find my way in and out of the Tartarus Prison. Steal All For One's powers. Kill him."
Bakugou nodded, fishing his phone out of his pocket before looking at her, verifying his plan. After she nodded in agreement he took a hold of her hand and pulled them on his bed so they could get comfortable.
Then he pressed the button on the recorder and they watched as the red light turned on.
"Bakugou, I want you to join me and the League of Villains."
The acting began.
"Have you totally lost it, Dumbass?"
The ash blonde looked down at the girl laying besides him in his bed. Her fingers were tracing patterns across his chest which made him feel calm and safe. His arm was wrapped around her, holding her close against his side, slightly also playing with the ends of her hair.
"Todoroki already agreed. But I want you too. I need you by my side . I am in this mess of double-spying but in the end, I side with the League."
"Why?"
"Because I know the future. And I want to change it for the better."
"Why do you trust me? Unlike me, I didn't join the League when they kidnapped me."
"I don't know... call it foolishness, call it naiveness, I just do. I trust you with my life Bakugou."
There it was, she used his last name again. Not a nickname like when she's playing around. But his actual name, which she only did when she was serious. Something told him that she did this unconsciously and it made him trust her all the more.
"Okay. After seeing how the Heroes handled your kidnapping, I got so angry and frustrated because they didn't do shit at all. In the end you had to escape on your own, yet thinking about it now I'm guessing it was all part of your plan wasn't it?"
She nodded and told him how the League had taken her in, how she shared their ideals and agreed to Stain's philosophy. How they had accepted her into their family and build trust in her, enough to follow along with her plan.
"So did Icyhot agree too?"
"Yeah, but he has another reason too, which is not really mine to tell you right now."
"I have a personal reason too though."
"You do?"
He rolled over and positioned himself hovering over the girl just like he had done not too long ago, his hands besides her head trapping her underearth him. His red eyes piercing into her surprised ones.
"You."
He said, soft but determined. He saw her eyes get glossy before she pushed the emotion away and smiled at him. This showed him just how much he meant to her and the immense trust she had in him.
Bakugou couldn't hold himself back anymore and his head sunk down in order to meet her lips in a hungry kiss. She returned it just as passionately, arms reaching around his shoulders as his moved along her body.
His hand quickly reached out to turn off the recording. At the moment he didn't want to think about anything else besides the girl in front of him. They could talk about the details later, about what they were going to do next, about her plan to save the future.
She let him roam his hands on her body, needing his touch just as much as he needed to touch her. She kissed him back with the same passion, the same need and the same tenderness. Lusting for each other's love.
