Chapter 38

"Where were you last night?"

Mina was interrogating her as she hadn't found the girl in her room as usual this morning. Although she tried to keep her friend silent, curious ears tried to listen in on the conversation.

"I know you went to give Todoroki a shoulder to lean on after the thing with his dad and all but I didn't expect you to be the kind of person to take advantage of the situation and sleep with him while he's vulnerable."

Her hands clasped on the pinkettes mouth in the try to shut her up, she rolled her eyes but agreed to quiet down. By chance, she managed to make eye contact with the boy in question who was now blushing madly as well.

"No no no! I left his room but while going to my own I ran into Bakugou and we ended up talking too."

"Aha! So you slept with him! I knew there was something going on between you too!"

Mina whisper-shouted, excited about her ship becoming real.

"No we didn't! We just fell asleep mid-conversation!"

She didn't seem convinced with that answer and suspiciously hummed while staring at the girl she was questioning.

"You never lie to me so I believe that you didn't do it yet."

"Yet?"

"But you didn't only talk either, am I right or am I right?"

She was her best friend alright. Mina had managed to read her like an open book when it concerned girl talk.

"We kinda made out."

She admitted silently so no one that was already eyeing them would hear. Mina did a celebratory dance which didn't help much to ease the suspicion of the others.

"I knew it! My little girl is all grown up now, I'm so proud of you!"

"By the way Mina, your new winter specs are really cool!"

She tried to change the subject but her friend gave her a I-know-what-you're-doing look. But being the good friend she is she decided to let her love life be for now, until they got to talk more privately, and continued to show off her new winter outfit.

It was getting colder which meant their Hero outfits had to upgrade in order to keep them warm in cold temperatures. Though not everyone had decided to do that.

"Hey! I was talking to you guys!"

Kaminari whined when his friends weren't paying attention to his winter outfit show off.

"They're distracted by (Y/N), migo, seems like she slept over at Bakugou's last night?"

"My wifey did what?!"

The blonde was shaking Sero by the shoulders while the other three tried to hear what the loud pinkette was exposing.

"What the fuck is up with you, Dunce Face?"

Bakugou growled as his loudness was annoying him as per usual. After their kiss during the Spin The Bottle game, Kaminari's breathing was enough to aggravate him.

"You slept with (Y/N)!?"

Thankfully Kaminari kept his question to shouted whisper as if he didn't want anyone to know he had been cheated on.

"So what?"

At this Kaminari slapped his palm against his own mouth in shock before comically crying to Sero who had to calm him down. Shinsou, Todoroki and Kirishima had now turned their attention to the ash blonde.

"You're serious Bro?"

Bakugou would have facepalmed if it weren't for his gauntlets preventing him from doing so and he could only roll his eyes. But the tone in Kirishima's voice made him question his motives just like Shinsou's who was glaring daggers and Todoroki who wasn't that far away from doing the same thing.

"No we didn't Shitty Hair, we ended up falling asleep while talking. Not that it's any of your business anyways, can't you losers mind your own shit for once?"

Mina, Kirishima, Shinsou and Todoroki their relationships with her went past simple friendship. It wasn't that Bakugou didn't trust her, but he didn't trust them. He wanted them to know she was his. But she wasn't.

After making out they really did talk, just not about what their relationship exactly was now. She'd fallen asleep as soon as they had talked through the worries that had been ghosting in her mind.

Bakugou could feel, by the way she had finally managed to relax in his arms, how exhausted she must have been before.

"You guys look awesome! How does your first Hero-outfit feel Shinsou? It's inspired by Aizawa-sensei isn't it? The mask is new though."

Mina admired the guy's outfits when she walked over to the group.

"Thank you. It is indeed and the masks improves the range of my Quirk. Artificial Vocal Cords: Person Code."

"Wow so cool!"

"I agree with Mina, though I really don't get how you can tolerate this freezing cold, Kiri."

She had followed behind her friend so they could join the boys so their group would be complete. The Baku-squad being very much canon now thanks to her hard work and fangirl desire to make it reality, with the additions of Todoroki and Shinsou.

"A man doesn't get cold!"

"Yeah sure, say that again when your nipples freeze off."

Mina waved it off when she overheard the conversation, her comment successfully made them all laugh in some way except for Kirishima who was laughing out of embarrassment.

"You look very manly Kiri, we're just worried since you're still basically half naked and it's not summer anymore."

"Yeah, take a look at Bakugou, he got the memo."

"Yes, his costume is designed to keep him very warm."

Kaminari was obviously salty as he tried to pick on the other now and Todoroki went along with it and it wasn't clear if he was oblivious to the fact that Kaminari meant it as a tease or that he wanted to push further on the teasing.

"What was that, you shitty extras?!"

Thankfully another loud voice erupted from somewhere which distracted them from the fight that could have started between the boys.

"And today! A vs. B! Our first ever joint training battle! We're go-gehh!"

"Monoma! Shut up!"
