Chapter 19

Victoria's pov

Fight.

Why is it always fight.

Can I never gain respect by showing my strength any other way then through a fight?

As Tristan charged I reacted. He was easy enough to side step as he was all muscle no brain, it showed on his attack. He charged me no plan formed, just believing he was stronger then me and that that was all that he needed to win.

How old school.

"Alright Tristian. If you wanna play" I said and sighed as he turned back around after his failed attack. He snarled. Okay then, I smiled

"Game on"

Kicking his ass wouldn't be difficult if he was gonna be this hot headed. I was almost hoping that he would step up his game. Prove that there was more to our generation then brainless morons with muscles.

"Is everyone paying attention?" I said and the crowd automatically gave me their attention.

"What Tristan is doing right now is facing your opponent head on. Which can be a good thing, but he is charging without a plan or purpose" I said and he snarled and charged again I side stepped him easily.

"As you see I am able to dodge his attacks and I can do that because I am calm and collected. A hot headed wolf is of no use in a fight. Without a clear head you will lose. Not because you can't win but because you're making yourself lose"

"Tristan you are a strong wolf and with your strength you will defeat a lot of enemies. What will you do when your strength alone isn't enough?"

He snarled offended. He understood every word but being as hot headed as he was right now it made no difference to him.

"For you weaker wolves watching. You don't need strength alone to win a fight. You need a clear head on your shoulders when you have that-" I said and jumped as Tristan charged again. I did a flip over his wolf form as he passed under me after another failed attempt.

"You don't need strength to win a fight" I said and kicked Tristans front foot from under him when he charged again.

"All you need is some training-"

Tristan stumbled. He was fuming with rage at this point. his thoughts made no sense as all were jumbled together. Rage was all I could get a clear read on.
