So sorry I haven't uploaded in like forever. In my defence I have been studying like crazy. University is seriously nothing like High school, I have 13 books to read this semester. 13! Every week I have to read 120 pages for the litterature class and then I have to read and do assignments from 5 books in the grammar classes. It's a lot! I keep feeling like this isn't real, because it is so much so fast. All I know is it has only been 3 weeks and I have read over a 1000 pages, and I am not exaggerating.
I just couldn't bring myself to open my books today and figured one day off I deserved, so I decided to write a chapter instead. Hurray for lazy days and here you go.
Hope you enjoy and again sorry for the late update!

Chapter 27
Tory's pov
Victoria stood up from the ground, the scent of forest greeting her now that she bothered to breathe properly. She shook her head, drying away her tears. She couldn't believe she actually cried. She didn't even let herself cry over the loss of her parents yet this one man had her falling to the floor in tears. Unacceptable.
She had let her walls down. Made herself vulnerable and open to attacks. She shook her head in shame. No more. She couldn't be sitting here crying like a broken little girl while her pack was in danger, trapped, caged taken from her by her own brother. No it was time to step up and be who she was supposed to be. She was her father's daughter and it was about time she started to act like it.
She understood the reason for her tears, she understood now, and though she knew better than to question the moon goddess and her decisions she had her doubts about the reason for this, particular choice. I mean to think... No. No matter the reason she had to believe the goddess had a reason for choosing this, although it couldn't have happened at a less convenient time.
She had forgotten herself, and she had disgraced herself, it felt like a slap in the face. This weak girl moment could never happen again. She had to stay strong to save her pack. She was an Alpha, their alpha and she wouldn't forget that again. Not ever. She had a promise to keep, one she had promised herself when she taken her fathers pendent, she would return, she would save her pack. This was a promise she had sworn to herself, to her parents and she would never let anything break her promise. not even death. Her pack was all that mattered and everything else just had to wait.
She walked along the forest trail as she thought things through. Now that she had a moment of peace she could ponder about everything. It gave her a perspective over the big picture, which was something she had been close to losing. Now she felt herself getting back on track. She had things to do, people to see. Allies to find.
Victoria took a deep breath feeling herself calm as the scent of the forest surrounded her. Yes, she knew what she had to do. She also knew she had been putting something on hold for long enough. Cole had recovered now and she had yet so speak to him, about everything. But before that she had to make sure that whatever was going on between her and a certain vampire teacher stopped. She couldn't deal with the distraction. She nodded pleased with herself.
- Get vampire teacher of her back.
- Talk to Cole.
- Finish the last few weeks of high school.
- Gain more allies.
- Pick up the chase on the vampires that were behind the attack on her pack as well as who is behind the kidnapping operation.
What could possibly go wrong?
